A/N: I suggest you guys read this on desktop/laptop and not on mobile. I put some media links to make this chapter more emotional. :) Play the song at the side while reading. And if you're on mobile, play Ellie Goulding's "I know you care" while reading.

NASH'S POV

After we spent the night at the beach, we packed up in the morning and drove back home.

"So, what's next?" Cam asked, rubbing his head with a towel. He just got out of the shower and I was lying down on my bed.

"Fireworks."

"You want to go with me to get them or you just want to stay here?"

"I want to be surprised on what kinds of fireworks it'll be. So I won't go, but stay here." I replied.

"Who'll get the fireworks then?"

"Let Hayes and Rachel do it."

"Okay" He chuckled

After dinner, we all went to the backyard and watched as Cam set the fireworks up. Rachel and Hayes were too young to light them, and I don't want mom to get hurt, so Cam volunteered to light them.

I sat on the ground, crossing my legs.

"How are you feeling, honey?" Mom asked, sitting beside me.

"Fine." I said, resting my head on her shoulder.

"Is dad still mad?" I asked.

"Oh, I don't know honey. He left us without another word."

"Okay."

"Why do you ask?"

"I want to clear things up with him before I go."

"Where are you going, honey? Are you moving out with Cameron? When? Why?" Mom started to worry.

"No, mom." I chuckled. "Before I pass away."

"Oh honey! Don't talk like that. You will survive, and you will fight this sickness okay?"

"Okay." I shortly replied as Cam lit the fireworks. He stood back and ran to where mom and I were, he sat beside me. We all looked up as the lights exploded, bursting into colors and shapes. I've always loved fireworks, I think they're one of the best things in life. Except when you're trying to sleep at four in the morning.

"How is it?" He asked, looking at me.

"It's awesome." I laughed. He grabbed my hand and held it. I gave him a quick peck.

This is nice.

Being surrounded by the people I love, watching colorful explosions in the sky. Blue, red, green and sometimes even all of the colors were there.

I wish we could do this more often.

But everything is bound to end at some point.

No, Nash. Don't think like that. You're going to get through this alive, you're going to be a survivor.

But I only have a slight chance of surviving. I mean, it's cancer.

Some people have survived cancer.

Those were miracles, they were lucky. Really lucky.

After arguing with my conscience, the fireworks were over. Cam quickly got up and cleaned up, Hayes followed. I was going to help but mom said I shouldn't be stressing my body out.
