Becoming Familiar

The first part of this book was really a dream, and the only way that I got it out of my head was to write it down so I made a book out of it. :)

I was walking down the hallway with my friends Damita, Pauline, and Lauryn. I looked to the side and saw that they were gone, and a guy with green eyes and curly brown hair was standing next to me. Where did my friends go,I tried to say it out loud but the words would not from in my mouth, my mouth would move but no sound would come out. We were walking past the nurses room where everyone liked to hang out. The mysterious guy wrapped his arm around me, I heard the guy I liked Joe's voice he said "why is she with him?" Then I heard David "she better stop because Sgt Cheney is coming?" Suddenly the voices were getting louder and repeating at the beat of my heart which was accelerating.

I felt the feeling of falling, and thought that I woke up. Until I felt like something was grabbing me and trying to pull me off of the bed. I tried to grabbing the other side of the bed but my fingers would move, I saw myself lying in different positions of my bed. Again I tried to scream but I couldn't. Why can't I talk what's wrong with me. I was floating on the air right beside my bed. Then I woke up in a cold sweat and my covers on the floor,allowing the cold air to touch my uncovered skin.

Thank goodness,I thought that, that I would never escape that horrid dream.

It was about five o'clock in the morning, I got up knowing that up would not be able to go back to sleep, so I decided to straighten my hair, and put a black tank top with dark blue jeans and a leather jacket. I looked down at my iPod and saw that it was 6:58, "shit, I only have 30 minutes until I have to go and get to the bus," I whispered to myself. I went downstairs and poured myself a bowl of frosted flakes. When I finished my cereal it was 7:18. I ran up the stairs and brushed my teeth to find a note next toy toothbrush, so I read it while I was brushing my teeth it said " Sweety, we are going to be working really late shifts and we will probably home at noon tomorrow, see you soon baby." my parents are never home l, their always doing surgeries and I never get to spend time with them, but on the up side I get to go to fun places with my friends, that may sound weird but a lot of people can't do this stuff like I can because their parents are really strict.

I ran down the stairs with my stuff, and ran out the door. my friend Alana was waiting for me out there. while walking to the bus stop I told her about the dream that I had.She was more interested in the guy that I was talking about, because I didn't give her all of the details, so I told her that all I remembered was that he had green eyes had brown curly hair. when I finished explaining the bus pulled up.

Of course being my clumsy usual self, I tripped on the first stair walking up to the bus, thank god no one saw me that would be embarrassing. Alana and I sat in the same seats that we always sat at. and she kept asking about the guy in my dreams, I told her that I don't remember, we never talked. She looked behind me, so I looked behind me to, I quickly looked back at Alana "It's him the guy in my dream" I said a little too loudly. She looked at me like I was crazy, but I'm not he's the one from my dream.

She started talking about how he was so cute, well he really is, but she just kept talking about it, she stopped which confused me. I looked in the direction that she was looking at to see him come and sit in seat across from me.

"I'm not the best at remembering names, but could you tell me yours" he asked shyly with a British accent.

"Not until you tell me your name." I teased him and smiled.

"My names Anthony" he smirked at me.

"I guess it would only be fair if I told you my name now, my name is Angel"I returned the smirk and giggled.

"Is there any advice you can give me here at Lakewood high school?" he asked

"Just don't be a jerk, you'll be fine" I said a little pissed off because I know once he walks into the doors of the school, the girls will be all over him, I mean Samantha was already undressing him with her eyes.He looked back curious about what I was looking at and said "what's her name?" damn it here likes her now I thought to myself before answering his question.

"her names Samantha, but everyone calls her Sam."I said with a voice as if I was giving up.

"She looks like a whore."he whispered to me and Alana. I thought that he was the kind of guy that just wanted to get into a girls pants.

"Hey we're close to the school, you should get your stuff ready," I said too him. We were walking up the stairs and I showed him to the office. "how will I know where my classes are?"

"they'll send someone down here to give you a tour around to school." Then I left to go to my first class, when I was telling my friend Lauryn about the guy the intercom went on and said "Can Angel please come to the office." my friend and the teacher did their oooooooo's like I was I'm trouble, so I laughed at them and started walking to the office.

"the office lady gave me a schedule and said Can you please show Anthony whee his classes are going to be?" she asked, but I know that I have no choice so I grabbed the schedule and walked out of the office with Anthony. I looked at the schedule to know where I was going top tame him.

"You have all of my classes." I whispered. the bell rang signaling that if your not in class you're tardy, and I walked him to my biology class, yep I was right all the girls were starting at him with dreamy eyes. I introduced Anthony too or teacher Mrs. dohl, and tried too leave as soon as I could. Then we walked up the stairs to Mr. longs classroom, which was my AVID class, and I introduced Anthony and Mr. long too each other, and before we walked out the door he said "don't forget binder check tomorrow!" he said extremely happy because he knows how much I hate binder checks.

"Today we have all of classes, but tomorrow we will only go to four of them because it's a block day." I said to him realizing that would be a great detail for him to know. I started walking down the hall slowly, because I really don't want to go to my next class.I started walking down the stairs.

"Do you walk down, and up the stairs for every class?" he asked.

"Yeah, I think so I'm not very sure" I said confused because I had not really ever thought of that. when we reached the bottom of the stairs we walked all the way down to the other side of the school and opened to double doors to the gym. We passed the door and saw that they had a class,but they didn't notice us.

Suddenly I was pushed against the wall, and soft lips were pressed against mine. I meant to push him away but at the same time I didn't want to.
