That Night

Chapter One

"Thanks." I smile gratefully to my Uncle Byron as he grabs my last bag for me.

"No problem." He smiles as the taxi drives away.

His house is very modern compared to most in Rosewood.

As I open the door, I am welcomed by a very excited Aria who wraps her arms around my neck, almost strangling me.

"I missed you so much, Brynn ." She smiles and kisses my forehead which makes me giggle.

"I missed you to, Aria." I smile with a small laugh accompanying it, "have you grown any?"

"No, Come on I'll show you your new room." She grins as she grabs the bags off of Uncle Byron.

"Aria and Mike will be sure to sort you out." Uncle Byron says with a wink, I let out an awkward laugh.

Since my parents are always away on work conferences, they thought it would be a good idea to stay with my cousins since to finish off the school year, so I'm not home, alone all the time. I agreed to the idea. I rang my cousin Aria as soon as I could to tell her the good news. She sounded very excited so I took it as she wanted me there.

Aria throws my bags on my bed and begins to whine.

"They aren't that heavy." I laugh.

"What you got in there? The kitchen sink?" Aria exclaims and laughs a little.

"Well, I'm moving in, so basically everything I own are in those bags." I shrug and nod slightly.

"Everything? Everything you own?" Aria questions.

Before I could say anything I was being squashed. I am finally released and turn around to see my cousin Mike laughing.

"I missed you cousin Mike" I said while laughing.

Suddenly Aria's phone goes off and I give her a questioning look.

"The girls are coming round for a bit Brynn" Aria said.

The doorbell rang and suddenly Hanna, Emily and spencer bursts in and all scream "BRYNN!!"

I smiled and gave them all a hug. "I've missed you so much" Hanna says.

"You have grown up so much" Emily states.

"Wow look at you" Spencer is amazed.

We all head to the kitchen for some dinner but we decide too order pizza instead.

All the girls phones ping except mine, which I thought was really weird.

"Get rid of the newbie otherwise I will get rid of her myself" Kissed -A

All the girls give a look of sadness, I think that is weird that all the girls got a text but I didn't.

"who was that?" I asked

"We should tell her" Emily states.

"NO! We cant risk it" Hanna says confidently.

"I agree with Emily, we need to tell her" Aria backs Emily up.

Just before they were away to show me the text, my phone pings.

Welcome to Rosewood, little girl. I was hoping to introduce you but my little friends have already done so. Hope you have a good stay, just remember bitches get buried. Kisses -A

I give the girls a weird look and show them the text. They all looked shocked and confused.

"Who's A?" I asked

"We don't know, this person has been torturing us ever since Ali disappeared" Aria explained.

"We did think it was Ali, but then they found her body" Spencer says sadly.

Flashback!

Emily's POV

We were all sitting in Spencer's barn late at night having a sleepover. We were all laughing and joking around until we heard a noise outside. We all got up and walked to the barn door when it opened and the noise began to get louder.

"Gotcha" Ali says and starts too laugh.

"That is so not funny" Aria says.

"Have you seen the new Beyoncé video yet?" Hanna asked Ali.

"Not yet" Ali answered.

"I'm loving the new music video" Emily states.

"A little bit too much Em" Ali says with a smirk.

Ali hands Aria the cup of alcohol and Aria starts to gulp it.

"Wow slow down otherwise you will be sharing all your secrets" Spencer's warns Aria.

"Friends share secrets, that's what keeps us close" Ali says.

"Drink up" Ali tells Aria.

We all fell asleep after having such a good night
