"Carla, I saw her! It's really Selena," Jake Muller reclines in his table chair, looking up at his guardian with wide eyes. The fifteen year old had a mop of brown hair he was constantly pushing out of his eyes, and it made him look younger than he was. He made up for it with a temper.
Carla stood with her back to Jake, at the stove, frying eggs. Her short black hair was shining in the morning sunlight, contrasting with her white blouse and dark purple pencil skirt, and heels. She was the exact replica of Ada Wong, but Jake didn't know who that was. He barely remembered the little girl he had become fond of so quick.
"I thought I told you to leave her alone? Jake, you can't be sneaking out at night like this. I'm going to start locking your door."
"Why are you so afraid of losing me, huh? You don't care about me! You have more than enough of my blood."
"Jake," Carla sighs. "We've been over this. Your father entrusted me with your life. I work for him, so I have to care about you."
"We haven't seen him in months! It's all Derek Simmons! You work more for him than anyone else."
"Jake! Drop it!" Carla slams the spatula she held onto the counter and spins to look at him with enough fury to make his skin crawl.
Jake rights himself and pushes his chair back, standing up. "I'm not hungry," he states as he walks out of the kitchen.

Sebastian ends the call he had been having with Carla Radames with a scowl. They were two people working for the same chain of command. Sebastian and Carla answer to Derek Simmons, who in turn answers to Glenn Arias...A.K.A...Alex Wesker.
Glenn and Sebastian both want revenge, and it had been promised to him. They had both Wesker children within their grasp, but the girl was just out of reach. She had too much protection. With the new gas agent nearly ready, he was running out of time, and his chain of command was getting impatient.
The Muller kid was becoming a problem as well. Somehow he had found out where Selena lived, and he was sneaking in. If the two of them realized what exactly was going to happen, the results would be disastrous. They'd never get anything accomplished.
His assistant, Andie, came into the room once again and handed him her clipboard. The scientist Rebecca Chambers has made another break through. That meant Glenn would want to act soon. He needs Selena's blood.
Sebastian hands Andie back her clipboard without a word and shrugs off his lab coat as he storms from the room.
He quickly makes it to his apartment and changes, glancing at the clock. He had been in the lab all night, and it was already nearly nine in the morning. Selena would be going on her lunch break at school in about an hour. Admiring himself in the mirror he ignored the fact that he looked like Keifer Sutherland as he put on his jacket and left for his car.
It didn't take him long to get to the high school. In fact, he got there just in time to see Selena get into her trans am. She must be going home for lunch. Quickly deciding he didn't have time for games, Sebastian sped up his car. He turned off the road he was on and went through an alley. Speeding up to 50, he exits the alley with the trans am doing ten over the 25 speed limit.
Sebastian slams into the tail end of her vehicle, sending her spinning towards the building beside her. Her tires hit the curb, and catch on a fire hydrant, sending the car upside down, half on the sidewalk, half on the street. Sebastian gets out of his vehicle, ignoring the screaming people around him, and runs to Selena. He pries open the door and cuts her seat belt, pulling her from the car. She is conscious, but in shock, and bleeding badly. Broken glass makes her skin sparkle and she is trembling. Her fingers dig into the elbow of his jacket. Smearing blood on it, and effectively disgusting Sebastian.
He loads her into his car, and speeds off, back towards the lab.
