Rebecca's entire body hurt. She could feel the veins trembling beneath her skin, and her brain felt like it was pulsing, hammering against her skull. Her heart felt like it would stutter, stop, and then pick up again too fast. Her body was fighting whatever foreign substance that was trying to take over her system, and it was almost overwhelming.
The scientist stumbles from the labs, shuffling into the Hall. Her breathing gets more and more raspy, and sharp, more forced as she puts her hand down on the palm sensor to a lab around the corner. The security light blinks green and Rebecca nearly falls into the room. A glass case was nearby and the woman shrugs her lab coat off as she stumbles toward the vaccinations. She opens the case and grabs a needle gun from within the case and immediately plunges the vaccine into her arm.
She body jolts, and Rebecca gasps, breathing faster. Tears escape her eyes and wet her cheeks as she feels the battle within herself. Her blood was liquid fire and her organs burning coals. She could feel the pain in her fingertips and hair follicles. It was all over in just a few seconds, and Rebecca collapsed against a cabinet of unknown contents.

Sebastian enters the cell block and orders the lights be turned on. The darkness turned into bright light, and he watched Selena cringe into the corner of which she had curled up in. Her clothes were grungy and her hair a greasy mess. It was so tangled he thought he'd just have it cut instead of dealing with conditioner and brushes. The girl hadnt been there very long, but in the weeks she had been there, she had lost weight. A lot of weight.
There were several paper plates of sandwiches (some moldy by now) laying untouched on the floor by the cell bars. Her cot on the floor was messy with the sheets coming off and the wool blanket wrinkled and tossed to the side. He knew she had nightmares when she slept; he could hear her on the speakers in the monitor room.
His attention was brought to her again. Selena was now looking at him through her nasty hair. Dark circles were under her bloodshot eyes and the tear trails were visible on her cheeks. She shook and her heavily chapped lips trembled.
"You've been here three weeks," Sebastian told her. Selena winced and shuffled closer to the wall when Sebastian took a step closer.
"L-Leon will c-c-come," she whispers.
"I don't think he will," the man drawls. He tilts his head at her. "Poor little orphan Selena. Trapped and waiting for a hero that will never rescue her."
Selena didn't reply, just shivered violently and rested her forehead on her boney knees. He would come, he had to. But then, Leon hadn't found her mother before it was too late. Selena couldn't help but blame herself. If only she had written in the journal sooner. Selena needed her journal now.
Sebastian unlocked the cell with a code and slung open the barred door. Selena tried to scoot away and looked up at him in fear as he stalked forward and hauled her to her feet by her arm. He grabbed a fist full of her hair at the nape of her neck. Selena cries out, if she had had any tears left, the pain would have made her cry. He leans in and growls in her ear. "If you try anything stupid, I'll shoot you myself."
He doesn't wait for a reply and pushes her towards the hall, keeping a hold of her elbow. Walking briskly, the two mount an elevator and Sebastian pushes the button to the second floor. The elevator ride was smooth enough that there was no jolt for lift off or arrival. When the ding sounded and the doors opened, a rush of warm air hit Selena in the face. The sudden temperature change sent a violent shiver down her spine, but she was glad for the warmth. Sebastian pushed her again and led her up a hallway with several hotel looking dark gray doors lining it. Sebastian slipped a card into one of the readers and pulled it out again. There was a green light and a click as Sebastian opened the door and guided her in.
The room was simple and clean. The bed was a king size with a white comforter and two big fluffy pillows. There was a small wooden night stand with a lamp on it and a novel that Selena couldn't see the title of. It was laying with the pages opened and faced down to mark the spot somewhere in the middle of the book. There was a flat screen television and a DVD player and connecting kitchen mere feet away. A stove and oven, a small refrigerator, cupboards, and counter space. Sebastian pulled her down the hall into the open bathroom. It barely fit two people inside it. The toilet was shoved between the wall and the sink and the tub was inches away from that. Sebastian pushed passed the girl and turned on the shower, heating the water up. Selena watched with wide eyes and he turned back to her and grabbed her arm again.
"No," Selena pleaded. She could do this her self. "No!"
Sebastian ignored her and yanked her shirt and hoodie off in one swoop, hurting her a little. She shouted in protest and he unclipped her bra. She tried shoving him away and folding in on herself, but having no strength, he over powered her. Next, he shoves off her loose jeans and underwear and picked up her naked body, carrying her to the shower and gently put her down in the tub. She stood under the water hiding herself from him, crying softly.
To her horror, Sebastian stared at her a moment. Even worse, he began to undress himself. He grabbed a pair of sheers from the medicine cabinet, and climbed into the shower behind Selena. He angled them so that they could share the warm spray of water and began detangling her hair.
She hated the way his hands gently combed through the stands. She hated how soothing it was and how careful he was being. Selena hated that it felt good. And then he began to snip at her hair, cutting it short above her shoulders. When he was done, he literally began washing her with his body wash and shampoo, and Selena hates that the only thing she could do was cry.
