Spyen gave one last glance into the lake before she slowly walked to the cabin. Spyen pushed open the cabin door and saw Skye pull away a piece of the wood paneling to reveal Banner's fist that was smashed into the reinforced honeycomb wall. Skye put her small fits inside of Banner's as Spyen shut the door.

"Yeah, Banner didn't have much of a fun time here."

Skye turned to face Spyen, "Was this always a cabin?"

Spyen shook her head, "No, on the outside it was, but on the inside it was an interrogation and isolation room. Banner came here for a while when he couldn't gain control."

The moment that Spyen finished her explanation, she could feel her eyes warm into red, "Did you hear that?"

Skye furrowed her brows, "Hear what?"

Spyen tilted her head and waited until she heard the sound again. She looked up and Skye's face told her she had heard it too. Skye reached down and picked up a weapon as an instinct and slowly walked towards the front door.

"What do you think you're going to do?"

Skye glanced down at the metal fire poker in her hand, "I don't know. What I was trained to do?" Skye's voice was quite.

Spyen furrowed her brows, "You have powers, Skye."

She let out a breath, "So do you, that doesn't mean I know how to use th—"

The quick bickering came to a sudden halt as a knock sounded on the door. Both of the agents flinched at the sound and Spyen felt her stomach drop. The sister's glanced at each other before Spyen rushed to the door and ripped it open. Spyen let out a gasp when she saw a man standing on the porch. The man was quite tall, but that wasn't what had startled Spyen. The man had a clean forehead with no eyes or eyebrows. His face was smooth from his cheeks to his hairline.

"Hello Spyen, Skye. I'm Gordon. May I come in?" Gordon had a smile on his face as the sister's stood with taut muscles. When Gordon didn't receive an answer he assumed the answer and slowly walked into the cabin looking down at the weapon in Skye's hand, "So, what is the plan with that?"

Spyen slowly closed the door, "You can see?"

Gordon turned to Spyen, "Not the way you do, but I can see that you are afraid." Gordon swiveled his head between the sisters, "You don't need to be. Not with me."

Spyen pulled in a breath and tried to use her powers to get into the man's mind, but she found it difficult. Although, she did receive that Gordon was not a threat. "Who are you?"

"I'm like you. Both of you. And I have come here as a friend."

Skye turned to Spyen and lifted up an eyebrow. Friend? Foe?

Spyen let out a single nod.

"I can't imagine what you both must have felt to go through your transformations without any understanding of what to expect. I had years to prepare and still, I was horrified by what I became."

Gordon walked further into the cabin and hovered by the couch in the middle of the living room, "Granted, I was younger." He gestured to the furniture, "May I sit?"

Spyen had her mouth hanging open honestly fascinated by the man. Gordon took the silence as his answer and heavily sat on the couch with a sigh, "This couch is very uncomfortable." Despite his comment, the man quickly leaned back into the pillows, "I wish you wouldn't stare."
