Joey's POV

The next 3 days Meghan and I searched around for where Sawyer and Lisa could be hiding. I was losing hope but Meghan told me that we'd find him eventually.

I laid down on the cold empty bed. I needed Shane to lay beside me. Maybe I would be happy and in my own bed right now if I didn't say anything...

No Joey! You saved Shane! You made him happy and made him feel loved. If you give up now he'll think you don't even care about him.

I can't sleep. I text Meghan telling her I'm driving around to see if I can find anything.

After an hour I see a girl and a guy walking down a sidewalk together. They look like Sawyer and Lisa.

I get out of the car and ran towards them. I grab Sawyer and punch him in the face.

Sawyer: Ow! What the f*ck?!

I grab Lisa by the shoulders and push her into the side of a building.

Joey: Where is he?!

Lisa: We don't have him.

Joey: Bullshit! Where is he?!

I felt Sawyer grab me. I pulled away from him and shoved him against the building.

Joey: Where the f*ck are you keeping him?!

Then he pulled out a knife. I backed away. If I get hurt there's no way Shane will get saved.

Sawyer: We won't tell you. I suggest you give up or else we'll have to hurt him.

That made me beyond angry. How dare he threaten to hurt my Shane? I will kill that bitch.

I get back in my car. Before I drive away I take a picture of the street sign and send it to Meghan. Then I drive away.

I was so close. I hope he knows I'm trying. I won't give up now. Not after I'm so close to finding him.

Shane's POV

These past three days have been horrible. I feel so violated. I hate them.

They've raped me, hit me, starved me. I would rather die but I know that would break Joey's heart.

They left me for about 2 hours. I somehow managed to untie myself but I could barely stand. I just sat in the chair until they came back and tied me up again.

Lisa: You know who we just ran into?

Sawyer: Joey.

Joey? My heart started beating faster. He's still searching. He's so close. I wish I could just tell him where I am. But Joey's smart. He'll find me.

They saw me smile which did not make them happy at all.

Sawyer: Forget him.

Lisa: We will get rid if him if we have to.

I stop smiling and look down. Joey is so close. He'll find you soon Shane. Don't give up hope.

Joey's POV

Meghan: Go get some sleep.

Joey: But I don't want you sneaking around without me. I want to save Shane. I need to save him.

Meghan: I'm not saving him. I'm locating him. If I find him tonight we can save him tomorrow night. Ok?

Joey: Fine.

Meghan: Get some rest. You're gonna need it for tomorrow.
