36. hostility and jealousy

i'm so sorry abt the wait :( i suck so bad, i know i know :/

"Taehyung! What did I tell you about leaving the damn toilet seat down?" Hay had yelled to her now current roommate who was currently getting ready for his day with Mia and his roommate and Jungkook.

"I'm sorry! I keep forgetting, okay? I'm used to living alone." Taehyung exclaimed sheepishly. After his birthday, he realized that he probably wouldn't find the perfect roommate and it might just be easier to live with Hay, anyway. They got along and were friends so what's was the worst that could happen?

"You're so lucky I'm letting you stay here, jeez," Hay grumbled jokingly while entering Taehyung's room without asking.

"Aw, it's nice to know you have a crush on me," Taehyung joked while getting ready to dodge all of Hay's attacks.

"Oh, shut up!," she hit his shoulder, "Such a douche," Hay rolled her eyes.

"Oh, don't be so embarrassed. I know you have a thing for our little Jungkookie," he teased. At this point, he was basically asking to get hit.

"You know what," Hay was interrupted by Taehyungs phone ringing. Mia was calling.

"Hey baby," he picked up, knowing that Mia was going to blush by the nickname.

"Gross," Hay cringed as she walked out to finish getting ready herself.

"I'm still not used to you calling me that," Mia blushed, but more on the fact that he called her baby out loud and anyone could hear him, especially Hay.

"Well, you better get used to it. Once I make you mine, then it's basically going to be your legal name," Taehyung joked as he laid on his bed.

"Yeah, well what if Hay hears? She doesn't know about us, does she?" Mia was slightly panicking. She was kind of paranoid on anyone, besides Namjoon, finding out about them because they aren't dating yet and she fears people would judge them. She knows she shouldn't care but she unfortunately does. She loves Taehyung but she wants to tell them that they're together once they are official.

Taehyung knew this and wasn't really offended, so for her case, he had to tell her a little white lie, "Of course she doesn't, baby," he sighed while feeling a slight pang of guilt, "she's getting ready in her own room."

"I still think it's weird that you live with her," Mia shook her head, trying not to start any negative thoughts. She wasn't really the jealous type so she didn't know how to cope with all these irritated emotions.

"Do I hear jealousy?" Taehyung smirked and joked, wanting to make Mia laugh instead of worry about Hay, who was becoming one of his best friends. He didn't want her to worry but he kind of understood why. But, Hay is helping him out with his life and he appreciates her for that.

"No," she rolled her eyes, "Why would I be jealous? I mean, she's cool or whatever. But I wouldn't g-"

"Babygirl, I'm kidding," Taehyung laughed huskily.

"Yeah, okay," Mia sighed, already feeling the negative thoughts forming in her head but she pushed them back further to make sure her day was going to be great.

"Are you ready? Is Mia ready? Cause Jungkook is here." Mia heard Hay say over the phone and she couldn't help but furrow her eyebrows. Jungkook picked her up first? He usually picked up Mia first since she was closer but she guessed that it was because Jungkook had a seemingly small crush on Hay.

"Yeah! Hey ba-Mia, we're leaving right now to come get you, okay?" Taehyung smiled which Mia could hear through the phone, which made her form a smile as well.
