Chapter 5- The Happy News

Naira and Kartik regain some of their composure.

Naira gestures, almost as a request, to kartik to start to tell them.

Kartik nods and starts to tell the Family as to what was the reason they couldnt share the happiest news of their lives, of their lil princess's arrival, with their family.

Kartik- samajh mein nhi aa raha kahan se shuru karu...itna sab hai, jo aap sab se share karna hai....aap sab se share karte toh shayad hamari takleef waise hi kam ho jaati... but sabse pehle...ye samajhiye ki baby abhi almost thik hai... aaplog pls, khaskar papa, bua dadi,dadu aur nani apni tabiyat mat kharab kijiyega....aap stress mat lijiyega pls...papa?.

Naitik- Kartik! main thik hu and promise hum sab tumhari baat sunkar react nhi karenge...bhagwan pe bharosa hai ki jo hoga achha hi hoga...

Naira- nhi papa sach mein..hum jhooth nhi bol rahe hain, aapko dilaasa dene ke liye...baby sach mei ab almost thik hai *touchwood*

Rajshri Nani- naira agar thik hai toh ye sab kyu kiya tumne... machine, doctor, nurse wagerah... dekh beta humein sach batana... hamari chinta mat karo.

Kartik - nani! Papa! Hum sach keh rahe hain warna hum aate hi kyu itni dur usse lekar...vo itni lambi travel thi isliye usse check karana important tha and baki saari cheezein sirf precautions hain...hum koi risk nahi lena chahte isliye...promise.

Naira-- haan...promise!!

All look slightly relaxed.

Keerti- toh tum batao tumne humein kyu nhi bataya ki tum expect kar rahe ho? And iski delivery ke time bhi? Baby kitni badi hai?

Kartik- keerti, jab humein paat chala toh hum itne khush they aur sabko bataane ke liye wait hi nhi kar pa rahe they...humne call bhi kiya tha bataane ke liye...

A couple of months back.
In kartik and naira's house,London.

Kartik-- naira!!! Naira!! Kahan ho tum?

Naira, who was getting Kanav n Nirvaan ready for school- bolo kartik! Main bachhon ke room mein hu....

Kartik comes there, n starts helping her to get kids ready.

Kartik to kids-- aap dono ab itne bade ho gye ho phir bhi mummy papa ko taiyaar karna padta hai...aur dono khelte rehte ho...khudse ready hona seekho bachhe...

Kanav n Nirvaan just snigger and laugh cos they know getting them ready is actually their parents fav part of the day... specially their mumma, who loves doing all their work, by herself not letting any house help do any of their jobs.

Naira- kyu hass rahe ho?Chup bilkul...papa thik keh rahe hain.

K-- vo main puch raha tha, naira...tumne socha vacation pe jaane ka...aaj batana hoga final, warna tickets and reservations milna mushkil hoga.

Kanav n Nirvaan excitedly- yesss papa...pls mumma... we hav to go...pls we really want to....

Naira- kartik...tumne inke saamne kyu bata diya...ab toh jaana hi padega... waise bhi kal se inki vacations hain...

Kartik -  great! Toh main book karata hu tickets.

Naira smiles looking at kartik who is just as happy as the kids at the mention of a vacation.

A month later, they return from the vacation and naira has not been keeping well since some time...

Kartik has been asking her to consult a doctor but she had said its just the food there that wasnt suiting her which is why kartik decided to end the vacation early but naira didnt agree n said she ll take care of her food but they arent going back.
