Chapter 8

Kartik and Naira were in their room before lunch and Kartik was working on his laptop.

Naira closes the door to change into more comfortable clothes... and as she was changing in the washroom her hair get stuck in the zipper...

Naira-- arreyyy ye kaise nikalu ab??
She calls Out-- Kartikk??idhar aao plsss 1 min

Kartik comes
n laughingly helps her--Tum hamesha kaise ye zip ko apne baalon mein atka leti ho?

Naira-- ho jata hai ab...kya karun...n tum ho na help karne ke liye...

Kartik-- hmm...vo toh hai...but ye sachmein ab funny hogaya hai...

Naira turns to him just as he is about to leave...and holds him...

Kartik and Naira are standing in close proximity and the tension is palpable...
Naira comes more closer near him but Kartik hesitantly withdraws ; kisses her forehead and leaves asking her to come fast and rest..without Naira having a chance to say anything.
She follows and doesnt say anything ignoring the hurt she felt.

Kartik and Naira had just completed lunch with the family...

Kartik was speaking to his managers regarding some pending work...Naira quietly came n kept his medicine nearby with water n he smiled back in acknowledgement.

Gayu n keerti having witnessed the cute interaction tease Naira as she returns...

Gayu-- Keerti Bhabhi aap seekh rahi hain na...?

Keerti-- Kya Gayu? (Acting innocently)

Gayu- arrey...yehi ki shaadi ke itne saal baad romance kaise inn pyaare pyaare moments mein bhi dikhta hai...

Naira blushes n says--haan haan seekhlijiye...but aap toh humse bhi aage honge... aur waise bhi ab toh...

Gayu-- ab toh?

Naira-- kuch nhi... i mean...aap log mujhe tease karna band kijiye... aur apna bataiye? Kaisa chal raha hai sab? Anniversary kaisi rahi Gayu di?
N mujhe maasi aur bua bhi banao pls...

Gayu is a little doubtful but lets it go n says-- abhi ruk ja tu...pehle mujhe Kaira ko khilane de...thoda maasi hone ki feel achhe se lelu phir sochenge...bua banne ko main ready hu,bhabhi??

Naira laughs n says--Haan keerti di pls...

Keerti-- achha ji..dono behne milke mere peeche pad gyi...abhi time hai...

Badi dadi who was sitting nearby,while leaving- Naira beta ye log kahan sunte hai...achha hai abhi tum aaye toh ghar mein kitni raunak hai...
Keerti and Gayu hide their smiles but end up giggling after Badi Dadi leaves...

Gayu-- ghar pe sab toh peeche hi pad gaye hain ab...

Naira-- waise badi dadi thik keh rahi hain...ofcourse ye aapka decision hai...main toh bas tease kar rhi thi but bachon se life bahut alag...bahut khush ho jati hai...

Gayu-- But Naira kuch alone time bhi toh hota hai...tu hi bata,life change nhi hoti kya as a couple...

Naira starts n drifts off in thought-- umm not really gayu di...better hogyi bas...Kaira ke time jo problem hui usse pehle toh main aur Kartik ek dusre ke liye time nikalte hi they...as a couple...
