Chapter 7

SINGHANIA SADAN

Kartik and Naira were completely at peace after months...Their daughter was better and their family knew the truth now.
Naira had just made Kanav and Nirvaan have their food n got them ready with Gayu....and was going upstairs to her old room...

Gayu-- Arrey Naira...tu bhi toh khaana khane aaja,upar kyu ja rhi h...and kartik kahan...ohhhh uske paas ja rhi hai...(teasingly)

Naira-- Kya Gayu di aap bhi?!
Mujhe abhi mann nhi h khane ka...main lunch time mein aap sab ke saath hi khaungi...Kartik ka mann ho toh bhejti hu...

Gayu-- Thik hai...but ye fruits leja...ye kha lena...

Naira takes them n goes to her room...
From the entrance of the room she Saw Kartik standing at the window looking out...she kept the plate silently  n went n backhugged him...Kartik smiled n held her hand...

Naira-- Finally...

Kartik-- Finallyyy...we are so blessed to have a family like this...itne understanding.

N-- hmm vo toh h...and main double blessed to have them n to hav you...I Love You..

K-- I love you too Naira...i love you more... i cant even explain wat i m feeling ryt now...i...

N-- i know...u dont hav to tell me...i feel the same way...Thank You Kartik if not for your strength i would hav been lost...with all that we went thru...for putting urself secondary... thank u for not letting my hand go even wen in desperation probably i was pulling mine out....Thank u for pullling me n our family out of all that could hav broken us...for..

K--- shushhhh...Kya bole ja rhi ho? Aur kuch nhi...arent we 1 unit naira? This is wat marriage is about...n this is our family...dont we both try to do our best...

And Kartik pulled a teary eyed Naira into the Bear Hug she missed...in the warmth where she has time and again dissolved all her worries...n they remain like that...

Naira-- Kartik!

K-- hmmm

N- i missed you...missed being close to u...

K-- me too...but ryt now you hav to rest...u need to take care of urself first...de stress n relax...
And kisses her forehead

N -- main thik hu...but kya tum thik ho? Matlab udaipur mein...

K--  jab tak tum aur  bachhe thik ho...i ll be fine...n as for u, U NEED REST...
Chalo ab kab se hum room mein hain...neeche kanav nirvaan pareshan na kar rahe ho...

Naira reluctantly leaves him...n kartik laughs at her cute pout...

Keerti knocks-- main andar aa jaun?

Naira-- arrey haan haan di...aaiye na...

Keerti-- ye badi dadi ne halva bheja hai...kha lo dono... main apna bhi yahin le aayi...

Kartik- arrey thank u...hum bas neeche hi aa rahe they...bachhe pareshan kar rahe honge...

Keerti- koi zarurat nhi hai...araam karo dono...vo tang nhi kar rahe bilkul bhi aur agar kare bhi toh bahut log hain unhe sambhalne ko...aur naira tumhara ye halva hai...kitni weak hogyi ho...dadi ne extra ghee daal ke diya hai...

Both of them eat with keerti...

Kartik-- kya hua keerti? Tu itni chup kyu hai? Abhi bhi naraz hai kya?

Keerti-- nhi toh...pagal h kya...

Kartik- toh phir?

Keerti-- bas soch rhi hu...main tum dono ke kaam hi nhi aa payi...tumne itna kuch kiya hai mere liye...yahan tak ki sabkuch chod diya mere liye but jab tumhe zarurat thi toh mujhe toh pata bhi nhi chala....main

Naira-- dii aap ye sab kya keh rhi hain...

Kartik-- kya bol rhi hai keerti...humne tere liye aisa kuch nhi kiya hai jo tu ye sab kahe...aur tu pls apne aap ko blame mat kar...teri koi galti nhi hai....na tab thi aur na ab hai...

Naira-- haan keerti di...aapka koi fault nhi tha...kabhi bhi...

Keerti-- naira ke saath,Tere saath jo tab hua vo mere vajah se...mere weaknesses ke...

Kartik,in stern voice-- Enough keerti...It wasnt ur fault and mujhe past ke bare mein koi baat nhi karni hai...pls dont make staying here more difficult for me by reminding me of all that...
(Then adds softly) koi aur baat karni hai toh bata?

Keerti-- umm haan...vo BuaDadi keh rhi thi ki Kaira ki mandir mein pooja rakhvana chahti hain...toh tum dono batao kya usse bahar le ja sakte hain abhi ya kuch dino baad...

Naira-- immediately toh nhi keerti di...
Thoda sa settle ho jayegi n 3 days baad ke check up mein doctor ne clearance dii toh thik hai...kyu kartik?

Kartik ,who was a bit lost--umm  haan doctor ke clearance ke baad hi...vo pooja ghar mein hi try karlo na...bahar jane ki kya zarurat hai...

Naira- Kartik! Hum kya ghar mein band rahenge yahan?

K- maine aisa nhi kaha...but phir bhi...
Humein careful toh hona padega...specially bachon ko aur tumhe lekar...

Keerti-- kartik thik keh raha hai Naira...main baat karti hu mandir ke pandit ji se agar vo ghar aajayein toh...

Gayu enters with kanav n nirvaan-- kya akele akele baatein chal rahi hain

Kanav n Nirvaan go to keerti n naira's lap immediately who feed them some of the Halva...

Kartik-- tumhari burai kar rahe they gayu...par tum aa gyi...

All of them laugh... n Kartik and Gayu keep teasing each other...

Naira smiles looking at the Old Kartik who used to joke around with Gayu n her...in the same place years ago...n she prayed once more that this time that they are here...he can actually move on leaving behind the past n they can Create only happy memories in Udaipur...her home town....

So the next chapter is here...sorry for the delay... had initially thought of moving ahead but realised a heart to heart betweeb K n N is required more since its their story....
