Cynthia's POV
"Jackson.", I murmured to myself before feeling my heart sink even lower.
It was now Sunday. My dad had awoken from his coma and all of our family went down to the hospital to see him. Most of his visitors, including me, were crying at the sight of him. I walked in to his hospital room hand-in-hand with my little sister- who now knew what had happened. I walked up to him and gave him the biggest hug, tears streaming down my face, trying to be careful not to hurt his wound. We talked for a couple of hours all five of us, me, Scarlet, Mason, my mom and my dad. We shared laughs and even some tears together and for the first time in so long we felt like a semi-normal family.

My mom had took my siblings home so they could rest, as well as this she also went to pack up some of my dads things to bring to the hospital. I refused to leave with them, I hadn't seen my dad in so long and you never know what could happen so I wanted to spend another couple of hours with him.

"Hey Kiddo", he said smiling. "You know dad, I haven't seen you in so long. Me, Masey and Scarlet miss you. I know mom does to but she never admits it.", I admitted in a downcast tone. "Cindy-lou it's important for you to know that despite everything your mother has done to me, I will continue to love her.", a look of sorrow etched on his face. "You know?", I quizzed with a grave expression. "Yes. When you, Mase and Scar left to get something from the cafeteria we spoke about it. I believe that after I am better we will spend some time apart. We both have issues of our own and in order to clear them up we need to stay away from each other for a little while.", you could tell my father was worried about how I was going to react. I could feel the sullen look on my face growing more visible. "Bu...but dad where will you live? will you go back to work? When will we get to see you?", believe me these were only a handful of the questions I had. "Well I'm still questioning these myself to tell you the truth. I'll still see you and your brother and sister often so you don't need to worry about that.". We continued to talk for another half hour before my mom returned and ordered me home to get some rest.

3 weeks later.
Cynthia's POV
My dad was now undergoing physical therapy sessions and was getting better and better by the day. Him and my mom had agreed to go to a couple's counsellor to work out their problems. It was unclear if my dad would return to work at this point in time; all of us were hoping he'd take a step back from it all and find another career. I'd had quite a few encounters with Jason. Two weeks ago I began going to school again, my mom said I should have the week off to process what had gone on.
I continued my days the same; going to school, having lunch with my best friends, going home,  declining offers to hang out, taking hour-long showers and binge watching Riverdale or some sort of TV show on Netflix.

It was a Friday night and I was sat a my vanity just finishing drying my hair when my phone started vibrating on my bed side table. The only calls I got these days were from Ken when she had something to rant to me about and to be honest tonight was not the night to take advice from me. My phone had rang at least five times now and I knew that by the second call Kennedy would of understood why I wasn't picking up and gave up trying. Five times the phone rang and after that it stopped in dead silence. That's when my heart sank; there was only one person that called me five times in a row and then stopped by the sixth. "Jackson.", I murmured to myself, feeling my heart sink even lower. I practically sprinted to my phone and pressed on his number. Within two seconds of calling, he picked up. His husky voice blared through the speaker of my phone as he spoke, "Meet me tonight, in the place that we first met. I need to see you.". He put the phone down before he even gave me chance to speak.

I had finished my black smoky eye and applied some red lipstick, then curling strands of my hair before letting it fall messily. I slid into my ripped fishnets, black leather mini skirt and my black lace bralet before grabbing my denim jacket and creeping down the stairs. It was 11:57pm so it was guaranteed nobody would be down here to spot me on my way out. I was right. I put on my black boots and exited the front door nimbly. I descended my porch and walked quietly down to my destination. Within 2 minutes I was there; knocking on the door before standing impatiently on the porch of the Old Cabin. A large masculine figure greeted me when the door flew open, "Ah Miss Montgomery, it's good to see you.", Hugo, the bodyguard of the exclusive Cabin Hideaway Night Club stared at me bluntly. "Hey Hugo.", I greeted back. "He's waiting for you.", he replied to me with a hoarse tone in his voice. "I gathered.", I said sarcastically before rolling my eyes and sighing. He shifted aside allowing me in before shutting the door quietly behind him.

Jason's POV
I lay in bed tossing and turning attempting to fall asleep. Nothing was working so I threw on some clothes and decided to let myself outside for a breath of fresh air. I sat on my porch steps rubbing my hands together and sighing out into the breezy summer air. All of a sudden I heard footsteps, I looked across to reveal Cynthia. She was dressed in sightly provocative clothing that definitely differed to the type of clothes she wore at school. I got up and shuffled as quietly as I could into the darkness where I was out of sight. She knocked on the door of the seemingly unoccupied cabin. A state of confusion misted my mind as a large giant-like man opened the door to her. It looked as if they were exchanging in some sort of conversation before Cynthia disappeared inside with the door shutting behind her. What the fuck was going on?.
