The Perfectionist

You know me.

You know how people say, that the person who cried the most has the prettiest eyes and the kindest person has been hurt very badly while the person who laughs a lot is actually sad inside?

I feel like I'm that person who laughs a lot. I often find myself laughing till I tear, and suddenly I feel like I'm hiding this sad incident or scar that I haven't found out about. Yet, every time I laugh till I tear, I feel like I'm just one step away from breaking down.
