Chapter 7

Shaylie's POV

Ross came and sat down on my bed next to me and started rubbing my back. He was being all apologetic but I didn't want to talk to him. I leaned up to look at him and he wiped my tears away. I turned away and shoved my face back into my pillow. I heard my door close softly and started crying even harder. After about a few minutes of crying, I got up and wiped my tears. I ran out the door and chased after Ross. He must have stopped at home to put his bathing suit on because when I saw him again he had on his favorite bathing suit that I got him for his birthday, even though his birthday is in winter! I was running down the street screaming his name and he finally turned around. He was standing there looking at me like I was crazy, but I didn't care! I ran into his arms and he picked me up and spun me around. I felt like the only girl in the world when he did that! I whispered "I love you!" to him and I felt him smile against my shoulder. We finally broke from the hug and he held out his hand. "Can we go to the beach?" He asked. I grabbed his hand and said yes! Sometimes I felt like Ross liked me but then I always got knocked out of that thought because then I remember Laura is still in the picture. A part of me has always been attracted to him but I couldn't ever tell anyone that, I like Tyler anyway!
