Chapter 10

Ross's POV

We came home from the beach and Laura and I went to go watch a movie. "Can we have a movie night?" Rydel asked. "And we can invite Rose!" Riker's face lit up. "Anddddd Shaylie." Rocky added. "Laura can come too right?" I piped in. "Of course!" Rydel squealed. "I'm going to go call Ratliff!" She ran off. "I'll call up Laura and Shaylie." Ross said. "I'll call Rose!" Riker ran to his room. "Dude," I felt Ryland hit me, "would it be cool if I invited Maia over?" He asked. "I guess." I looked at him confused. "Great man!" and he ran off. After two rings Shaylie picked up her phone. "You up for a movie night?" "Of course! Can I tell Rose?" She said, she sounded so bubbly. "Nah, Riker is calling her." "Yeah, she just left the room because Riker called her." I heard her laugh. "Alright well I got to go, I got to call Laura." "Byee!" She said and hung up. It was 6:00 and we just sat down for dinner and all the girls were over. "Ross, did you invite Maia?" Rocky leaned over to me. "N-no, Ryland did!" I whispered back fast so Laura wouldn't get suspicious and neither would Maia. When we finished dinner we went down to watch the movie. I grabbed Laura's hand as we walked downstairs. We got down there and Rose and Riker were cuddling, Maia and Ryland were cuddling, surprisingly, Rydel and Ratliff were cuddling and then I started cuddling with Laura. Shaylie walked down last. "Well, I hope you guys are comfy! I should have invited a guy for me!" She joked and went to sit on the ground. "No, no, no! Shaylie, you sit here!" I heard Rocky say so I looked over at him and he was pointing the spot next to him. I knew what Rocky wanted to do; he wanted to cuddle with her. I know Rocky more than he knows himself sometimes. She giggled and got up and sat next to him. I felt this rage fall over me and then I looked down to see Laura's beautiful face. Usually, it was me and Shaylie who cuddled, but that was before I got a girlfriend! Rocky grabbed Shaylie's hand and kissed the top of her head and she didn't pull back or anything but if it was me she would get up and walk away. Every time Shaylie looked over at me and Laura; I pulled her closer, trying to make her jealous, but I don't understand why. Does she like Rocky now?
