"Wha--?" You said, dumbfounded. Your father had decided to go behind your back, and betroth you to another without your consent?
"Prince Sidon, could you excuse us for a moment? I'm awfully sorry." You asked, quite sternly.
"It's quite alright, Princess (Y/N), I must be going now, anyway," He leaned down and kissed your hand,"Farewell, my Lady."
"Likewise." You sent a fake smile.
When Sidon was gone, a tear fell down your cheek. You were going to wipe it away, but you felt a warm hand on your cheek. You looked to Link, who was caressing your cheek; he used his thumb to wipe away your stray tear.
"Please don't be upset, (Y/N)," He said, sadly,"I don't like seeing you upset."
"I-I just can't believe Father would go behind my back like that. How did you know?" You asked him.
"U-uh...Zelda was speaking to your Father, he told her, then she told me...so now I've told you," He looked into your eyes,"please don't tell your father."
You gave a humourless laugh,"I wouldn't dream of it, Link. You could lose your title, or worse."
He removed his hand from your cheek dropped it to his side. Your cheek now felt cold, and you missed his warm touch.
"Do you want to talk to your sister?" He asked. You said nothing but nodded. Link offered his hand to you, which you gladly accepted.

"Oh, (Y/N)!" Zelda exclaimed. You told her that Link had told you himself. Zelda pulled you into a warm hug and began gently stroking your (H/C) as a comforting gesture. Before you could control it, tears began streaming down your face, and onto Zelda's shoulder.
"(Y/N), please don't cry..." She pulled back, then tucked some hair behind your ear,"I don't like seeing you cry. Father shouldn't have done this." You used the back of your hand to wipe away your tears.
"Link, could you excuse us for a moment, please?" Zelda asked the Knight, who stood at the door with a concerned, and slightly sad, expression on his face as he watched the younger Princess. He simply nodded and left the room.
"I-I'm glad Link told m-me." You said between sobs. Zelda chuckled slightly put a hand under your chin,"Look at me," She said sternly, much like a mother would her child,"I don't want father worrying you, okay? I'll talk to him, and see if I can do anything to stop this. I don't want you being unhappy." You smiled slightly, and looked up at your big sister.
"Thank you, Zelda," You gave her a hug,"what did I do to deserve a sister like you?" She returned your hug and decided to change the subject slightly.
"So, what's this Prince Sidon like, then? He's Mipha's brother, is he not?" She sank back into her chair, you doing the same.
"He's very nice, polite...quite tall." You began to laugh. Zelda laughed along with you.
"It's late," she said,"I think you should get some sleep, Princess." She called you by the nickname your mother gave you. Although it was more a title than a nickname, you loved it nonetheless."Okay, thank you again, Zelda. Goodnight."
"Good night, (Y/N). And tell Link he may retire to his quarters. I shan't be needing his guard tonight." You nodded and left the room.
As you expected, the young Knight was standing outside the room.
"Zelda says you can go to your quarters, she's going to sleep now," You said to Link. He nodded and began to walk away. Before he could, you swiftly grabbed his hand.
"Link...thank you for today."
