It had been a month since you found out you were to marry Prince Sidon, and your father had still not told you himself.
Your father, though, had noticed the awkward atmosphere that clung to the air as he passed you or Zelda in the halls. He decided to confront you."(Y/N), is there something going on I should know about? I can't help but feel that there is something I should know." Your stomach dropped, and your palms began to sweat.
I can't tell him that Link told me...I don't want him in trouble.
"(Y/N)?" King Rhoam looked into your eyes suspiciously. Before he could say another word, one of the doors along the halls opened.
"Ah, Zelda, Link," He said. You breathed a sigh of relief,"How are you faring today, my daughter?"
"Father, you're quite jolly today, aren't you?" Zelda chuckled, though you could tell it was forced.
"Well, there is good reason to be! I was just about to tell (Y/N)," Was he finally about to tell you...?
"(Y/N), I can see you and Prince Sidon have grown closer the past month," Lies,"and I spoke to his father about the 'matter'...Prince Sidon has accepted your proposal of marriage.""Excuse me? My proposal? I had no say in this!" You exclaimed. You stormed out of the corridor, which was now feeling atmospheric and gloomy, as tears began to sting your eyes once again.

A while later, Link found you in the Castle Courtyard, quietly sobbing to yourself. When you saw the Knight approach, you quickly wiped your tears away and dusted off your (F/C) dress.
"Hello, Link." You said, your voice cracking slightly."A-are you alright?" He asked, seemingly nervous. Was he out here at his own will? He seemed to read your slightly confused expression and explained,"The King and Zelda began having a bit of a...disagreement. I was told to leave them be for a while..." He paused,"so I came to find y-you."
"Thank you, Link. I could do with the right company." You laughed slightly. You and the Knight sat in a comfortable silence for a while, until he decided to speak up.
"(Y/N)?" You turned your head to him,"how would you like to meet the other Champions?"
Your eyes lit up at his offer. You'd never left the Castle before.
"Yes! Goddesses, I would love that!" He laughed at your excitement. Suddenly, you threw your arms around him, and kept saying 'thank you' over and over.
He laughed and hugged you back.
"Seeing as we're not all together again for a while, which Champion shall we go see in their hometowns?" He questioned. You'd never seen any other race except Hylian, so you didn't mind which. Link, however, decided to describe each Champion."There's Urbosa of the Gerudo, she lives in Gerudo Town and is the Chief, though they only accept women into the town. There's Revali of the Rito. He claims to be 'the most skilled' of all the Rito, and his pride has got to him. He's a bit...cocky," you and Link laughed,"then there's Daruk of the Gorons. He's a good guy, once you get to know him. But, if he goes to pat your back or your head, move away, he's very strong. And then there's Mipha of the Zora's. She's very elegant, and has healing powers. She's had to heal my wounds a few times." He scratched the back of his neck, laughing nervously.
