"Wait," Link said,"Zelda actually said that? To the King?" Link was shocked. It was so hard trying to remember Link's memory had gone. Throughout most of these memories you were recounting to him, he was there, but the poor boy didn't remember.

You were both travelling down a lonely road, headed for Zora's Domain. It was a long journey, but spending it with Link made it feel a lot shorter, and less of an errand.

"Well, he was our Father, so I suppose she felt she was just expressing her opinion as a daughter, not as a Princess. I always admired that," You smiled at the thought of her,"Link, I do not mean to overwhelm you, seeing as your memories are still fragile, but we were close before. I mean, before the Calamity happened." Link's cerulean blue eyes glinted with something. Hope? No, it wasn't hope. Was it familiarity?

You were ripped from your thoughts when Link leaned towards you, losing his balance atop his horse.
"Link!" You exclaimed, catching him just in time. You laid him on the ground, his head resting on your lap.

This brings back too many painful memories...

Link appeared unconscious. You could see his eyes darting around beneath the lids, and his breathing became quick.
"Link..?" You asked hesitantly, despite the fact he couldn't hear you. Suddenly, he sat up abruptly, catching you off guard.

"Goddesses, are you okay? You passed out suddenly and-" Link cut you off with a kiss to the lips. It was short and sweet, yet this time, you kissed back.

"I remember you, (Y/N)."
