"Zelda, this won't work." Your words of discouragement were meaningless. Zelda simply ignored them and carried on with her plan.

She was going to attempt to talk to the King and break off the marriage between you and the Zora Prince.

"Father? May we speak with you?" Zelda knocked on the door to his quarters.

"Come in," He stated,"what brings you here, my daughters?" He said as you both entered the large room.

Your father was seated at a desk, a quill in his hand.

"Y-you're not busy, are you Father? We could come back?" Your attempts to leave were in vain.

"No, no. Just signing some things about your wedding, dear (Y/N). What's the matter? You sound troubled." You swallowed a large lump in your throat as he noticed your nervous behaviour.

The Goddesses must have smiled upon you, as your sister intervened.

"About the wedding, Father,"She said,"must it go on?"

Rhoam sighed and sunk back into his chair,"Yes, Zelda. You know this. It is a chance for Hylians and Zoras to rejoice-"

"So you're doing it for the Kingdom? Not your daughter?" Zelda spat. Her words were harsh, her tone was harsher.

"Yes, sometimes one must act as a King more so than a Father." He pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance.

"Zelda, I feel as though-"

"Father, I do not want to marry Sidon. I could care less about an alliance between the Hylians and Zoras. I, much like you did, would like to marry for love. Not because my father commanded me to." Rhoam glared at you from his seat.

He sighed,"(Y/N), you are becoming much like your sister. If she has convinced you to not marry Prince Sidon, I suggest you say so now."

"No," You replied,"this is my own decision."
