"Wow, this fits me really well..." Y/N said suspiciously,"in fact, too well." She looked at her new armour. It was F/C and was decorated with silver and blue jewels with Zora scales up the sides. In the middle of the chest there was an appliqué of a silver crest. It looked liked the Zora's Sapphire which had existed years ago; she had read about it in a book.
Link chuckled at her as she eyed her reflection with suspicion.
"Tell me about it. Don't you find it kind of creepy? That Mipha knew my measurements and Sidon knew yours?"
"Kind of, I guess. Isn't it weird to think how we were almost engaged to Zoras? I mean, what was my father thinking?" Y/N had finally found light of the betrothal situation since it had been settled not long ago. Link laughed along with her. She stopped and looked at him, smiling.
"What are you looking at, Princess?" Link smirked.
"Not much," she replied.
"That's it," Link said, then tackled the young Princess to the floor. He began tickling her at her sides.
"No! No! Mercy! Please, stop!" She couldn't stop laughing, but tears escaped her eyes from doing so.
"Fine. But on one condition," He said. She nodded her head for him to continue,"okay, uh. Y'know when we-ah..kissed?"
Her cheeks began to dust with pink, as did Link's. He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"Yeah..w-what about it?"
"I wasn't...too invasive..was I? We never really...talked about it. B-but only if you want to!" He began rambling, like he did when he was nervous,"I mean, we did kiss before but—" He was cut off with Y/N's lips against his own. He put his hands on both sides of her face. It was passionate and full of so many unspoken words and forgotten memories.
"Does that answer your question?" He hadn't seen this side to her, not without her father around anyway. She was cocky and confident, and he loved that. Then, the flustered hero remembered the position that they were in, and it seems she did too.
They scrambled off of each other quickly. Link looked away shyly, as did she, and cleared his throat.
"Err–yeah."
