3: High School Confession

"K-KUROKO?!" Kagami shouted in surprise.

"Eh, who?"

Kagami's companion looked around to find the person Kagami was talking to. He was tall and lean. He had blonde hair and wore square-rimmed glasses. He also had headphones hanging around his neck. He finally looked down and spotted Kuroko.

"I almost didn't see you there. Who is this, Kagami?" his companion asked.

Kagami kept on stuttering and couldn't utter a single sensible word. A blush has also crept up unto his cheeks. Unfortunately, Kuroko is a dense idiot and didn't even see it but apparently his companion can. Kuroko took up the chance to introduce himself.

"I'm Kuroko Tetsuya. I'm in the Japanese Literature and Language course. I was Kagami's classmate in high school. Nice to meet you"

"Eh is that so? I'm Tsukishima Kei. I'm in Business Management with your friend here. It looks like you guys need to talk? I'll leave you guys for now. See you in the next class Kagami," Tsukishima walked off with a smirk on his face.

"W-wait Tsukishima-" Kagami started to say but his friend had already left him. Kagami glanced shyly at Kuroko. Kuroko on the other hand looked at Kagami directly with his blue orbs. Kagami couldn't take it and just self-combusted.

"You never told me you were going to Sakurai University Kagami," Kuroko said.

"Well you didn't either Kuroko and how the hell was I supposed to know?" Kagami said.

"Well after graduation you said you needed some space," Kuroko said.

"W-what do you mean- Yes I did but that's not what I meant-" Kagami started to say.

"KUROKO! Haruichi said you guys needed to go soon! Your classes are starting again," Hinata's voice ringed over the cafeteria. Kuroko glanced back and gave Hinata a nod.

"Well, I've got to go Kagami. See you again," Kuroko said as he turned and walked away.

"Wait!" Kagami shouted. Kuroko stopped in his tracks and looked back.

"Would you... Would you like to meet up at Maji Burger this Saturday? I'll.. I'll clear things out," Kagami said. Kuroko thought it over. He had no plans whatsoever on Saturday, so he assumed it will be fine. And he will be able to get answers regarding the mysterious behaviour of Kagami ever since graduation.

"Sure. See you then Kagami," Kuroko said. He put his tray to the bin and walked back to his table. Kagami on the other hand groaned on how completely idiotic he had become over one dense blue idiot.

Haruichi and Kuroko left the table and said they would meet up pnce school finished. It was Hinata and Onoda left on the table. They chattered on about their favorite anime.

"Eh. Sawamura never came back," Onoda noticed.

"You're right," Hinata replies with food dripping from his mouth.

"Where do you think he went?" Onoda wondered.

"Hey Onoda, can you give me your number? I got Kuroko, Haruichi and Sawamura from Haruichi. You're the only one I don't have yet,"Hinata said.

"Sure!" Onoda said completely happy in having friends right off in the first day of college. Their thoughts of Sawamura long gone.

"O-OF COURSE NOT YOU EVIL SENPAI" Sawamura shouted back. Miyuki just chuckled. It's been a year since they last met and Sawamura was as loud as ever. Sawamura stood up slowly and complained how his but hurt from the fall. Sawamura felt a stinging pain in his hand a saw a small blister.

"Awww is little Sawamura hurt?" Miyuki teased.

"No! And it's your fault for making me fall!" Sawamura retorted.
