16: Under The Rain

"Oy, I think I saw your friend Kageyama," Imaizumi said.

Kageyama was busy with his food and struggling with Kiri who was trying to feed him. "Oh really?"

Imaizumi just shrugged. He can sense that Kageyama was at his wit's end in this avoiding thing. He wanted to talk to Hinata right away.

"Kageyama ahhh.." Kiri offered a piece of chicken to Kageyama. Kageyama tensed, he was having goosebumps. Imaizumi faked vomit.

"No thank you Kiri," he politely declines. Kiri pouts.

"You don't want your girlfriend feeding you?" his classmate teased.

"Definitely not and please stop it with the girlfriend thing? We are not even a thing," Kageyama​ was tired of all this teasing. He would have already done his king mode if not for Hinata's warning.

"Eh, why not Kageyama?" Kiri pouted, showing off her lips filled with deep red lip stick. Kageyama didn't want to let those lips touch him. Just no.

"Just please?" Kageyama asked. He wanted to finish his food in peace.

"Imaizumi!" a voice called out.

The group turns around to see a short male with round glasses running to their table, in tow was another male with pink hair.

"Oh, Onoda what's up?" Imaizumi perked up. Kageyama remembered him from last time. Then the pink-haired guy must be Haruichi.

"Can we talk? Also with you Kageyama," Haruichi said.

"Excuse us," Imaizumu said. Kageyama and Imaizumu followed Onoda and Haruichi to the corner of the cafeteria. Kiri looked at them suspiciously but she focused on the conversation of the group.

"So what's up?" Kageyama asked as soon as they were out of anyone's prying ears.

"Did Hinata talk to you?" Onoda asked worriedly.

"Uh, no. He hasn't for a very long time," Kageyama replied.

"But I did see him. He was running fast though," Imaizumi added.

"Eh?! He didn't talk to you? He was going to-"

"Onoda stop. Hinata will tell if he wants to," Haruichi interrupted Onoda before he could reveal Hinata's intentions. Kageyama looked at Onoda who was dying to tell them something.

"Why? What's wrong with Hinata?" Kageyama asked worriedly.

"Just have a proper talk with him once you get home. Come on Onoda, we still have classes. Then excuse us," Haruichi walked away leaving Kageyama and Imaizumi.

"A-ah bye Imaizumi and Kageyama," Onoda said as he followed Haruichi.

Kageyama felt very worried right now. What has happened to Hinata?

"Kageyama are you listening?"

Kageyama snapped back to reality and looked at his companion. Kiri insisted that she wanted to be Kageyama's partner for this project. So they decided to do it in Kageyama's apartment since it was closer.

"Ah sorry. What is it?"

"You're spacing out a lot. Something wrong?" Kiri asked.

"Oh it's nothing,"

Kageyama couldn't stop worrying over Hinata. He had tried calling him but his phone was off. He sent texts that they needed to talk but of course there was no reply.

Finally they have arrived in the apartment. Kiri took off her heels and entered the household. She looked around with wide eyes.

"Wow you have such a big apartment Kageyama! Eh? You have a room mate?" Kiri asked as she noticed there were two bedrooms.
