8: Late Night Ride

Hinata ran home trying to get his feelings out of his head. But once he arrived home, his thoughts rushed back to the one person who has stirred up his heart.

He had too much on his brain and he needed to let it all out. He was so frustrated in the end that he decided to do a a little project to express his emotions. His feet tapped to the beat of the music. It was too loud for Hinata to hear anything else. He didn't hear Kageyama knocking furiously.

Kageyama, at the end of his patience, barged in through the door and tackled Hinata.

"Agh! What the-" Hinata fell from his chair and landed on the floor with Kageyama on top of him.

Hinata couldn't hear anything but his music. Kageyama's face showed irritation and he was speaking non-stop. Hinata noticed the position they were in. He turned really red. Kageyama hasn't noticed and kept on lecturing Hinata.

Hinata couldn't take  it anymore. He pushed Kageyama away and went to the other side of his room with a pillow as his defense. He took out his headphones so he could hear clearly.

"What the hell was that for shorty?!" Kageyama bumped Hinata's desk with his back. He rubbed it in pain.

"W-what were you doing here in my room Kageyama?!"

"Huh?! Didn't you hear me knocking you idiot!"

"No, I didn't!" Hinata felt really embarrassed right now. He hasn't solved his emotions for Kageyama and he doesn't know what to react when Kageyama is near.

"A-anyways, what do you need Kageyama?"

"I was calling you for dinner! I ordered pizza. Your welcome you idiot," Kageyama groaned in pain as he tried to stand up.

"R-right," Hinata threw his pillow to the bed and exited his room.

He saw Kageyama's textbooks stacked in the living room. For some reason Kageyama likes studying more in the living room, maybe it's nearer to the kitchen. Sometimes Kageyama studies up until early morning so he may get some midnight snack.

Hinata smelled the glorious pizza and lo behold on the table were 2 boxes of pizza. One for Kageyama and one for him. Hinata felt drool coming out of his mouth. He quickly seated himself and opened up his pizza box.

"Cheese..." Hinata quickly gobbled up one piece and a second slice was on it's way. Kageyama smirked at how Hinata's messy face.

"You have drool idiot,"

Hinata mumbled something that Kageyama couldn't understand. Kageyama sighed. He got a napkin himself, squished Hinata's face together and wiped the grime and drool from his mouth.

"You're such a messy eater..." Kageyama noticed how definitely red Hinata was right now and he knew it was definitely not the hot sauce. He quickly let go and put his hands in his lap. He was blushing too. Hinata has been making weird faces lately. But what he finds weird is how he has been reacting to it.

Kageyama coughed. "Oy Hinata.."

"A-ah, w-what Kageyama.." Hibata still blushing furiously and looking down in his lap.

"Thanks..for being my sensei," Kageyama said shyly and quietly but Hinata heard that loud and clear. Hinata took advantage of the situation.

"What?! The King actually apologized to me?! This must be the best thing that ever happened-"

"Oh just shut it shorty and finish your food," Kageyama glared intensely at Hinata. Hinata stopped teasing and did as he was told. Kageyama's glare was scary.
