5: Part Time Job

Sawamura looked at himself in the mirror. He fixed his white polo and smoothed his pants.

"Let's do this!" Sawamura shouted.

It's been almost a week when he started his part time job. While walking home with Kuroko, he was able to find this cafe  asking for hire for a waiter. He got interviewed and the boss liked his energetic personality, so he got hired. His work was only from 5 to 8 pm in the evening for weekdays and half day on the weekends. He was congratulated by the gang and promised to visit soon next weekend.

At first he always made mistakes, the other co-workers were patient with him but there was this one senpai who absolutely hated him. His name was Azuma. He was a bit chubby on the sides and very big, it makes you wonder what he was doing working in a cafe like this. For every small mistake Sawamura did, he would always insult him and degrade him. Sawamura would not back down and did his best not to let it get to him. His other co-workers said that Azuma did that to all the newbies, so practically everyone hated him. But everyone was afraid to tell the boss for what Azuma will do to them. Sawamura reassured his co-workers that he wouldn't let it get to him and tried to improve.

Since he was busy with all his school work and his part time job, he never got the chance to bump into Miyuki again. NOT THAT HE WOULD WANT TO.

Apparently he had heard some rumors about him. Miyuki is supposedly famous among the girls and so is his best friend Kuramochi. Sawamura was shocked to know that Kuramochi was also attending the same university as them but in the Business Management course. Haruichi just shook his head at how ignorant Sawamura could be.

He would hear girls all over the campus talking about him, no matter what course they took which made Sawamura super pissed.

Miyuki is on his second year taking Medicine. Sawamura wondered what made him choose Medicine anyways. But he cancelled out the thought refusing to let Miyuki take over his mind that very moment. He had better things to do.

The so-called Miyuki was leaning on his car, waiting for someone. He had a hoodie on and wore black skinny jeans. His cap was put on sideways. He had parked his car in front of cafe named Cafe de Music. It was his favorite cafe. It had nice ambience and the music was soothing. On Friday nights, they have someone always perform for the customers. Plus it was conveniently near a batting

Miyuki remembered the times where he would study here then head to the batting center if he got so stressed. This also became Miyuki and Kuramochi's hang out place.

Miyuki perked up when he heard the roar of a motorcycle park beside him. The driver took off his helmet to show his best friend's face.

"What's up Miyuki? Hyahaha!"

"Yo Kuramochi," Miyuki replied.

Kuramochi turned off the engine and they headed inside. A female waiter escorted them and couldn't help admiring their looks. Miyuki winked at the waiter as she was pouring them water and she left them with a red face with their order. Miyuki chuckled and drank his water.

"I heard from a little birdy that you almost killed Sawamura?" Kuramochi grinned teasingly. Miyuki choked on his water.

"I guess that's a yes then,"

"Who.. *cough.. Is this little birdy?" Miyuki asked.

"Not telling hyahahha! So it seems you met your little kouhai,"

"It wasn't a nice reunion. I think I made him cry," Miyuki felt frustrated at himself once again.

"Well that's expected of you. You and your twisted personality. I don't even know why he liked you,"
