10: Hope

"He still likes me? After all this time?" I ask, mostly to myself after Hermione told me that Harry admitted to still having feelings for me even though he's in a relationship with Draco. "I don't understand, he's the one who didn't want to have a relationship with me."
"Hey, I don't understand it either, do you still have any romantic feelings for him?" Hermione asks and it feels like her eyes are staring right through me and into my soul.
"No! If I did I wouldn't be romantically involved with Blaise. I just don't get why he would be dating Malf-Draco if he still has feelings for me." I say, completely confused by this whole situation.
"Well I think Ron is going to tell Blaise." said Hermione with a thoughtful expression. "He might have some ideas to help with this whole thing. Just, don't tell Harry OR Draco that I told you about this, they said specifically to not tell you or Blaise."
"And you told us anyways? That's not your normal style. Aren't you supposed to be the sensible one of the 'Golden Trio'" I ask with a genuine smile.
"And the sensible thing is to tell you and Blaise incase Harry tries to do anything." Hermione says, and she sounds one-hundred percent confident with her words and actions.
"Incase he were to try anything? Like what?" I ask, not following where she's taking this conversation.
"Sexually." Hermione says, seeming embarrassed that I didn't understand what she was talking about. "But I doubt he would do anything like that too you. We just decided that it would be best to take the precaution of telling you guys just incase."
"Oh." I say, not really knowing what else to say. "Hopefully he won't try anything. Since he knows that Blaise and I are happy together. What if he does try something?"
"Then Ron, Blaise and I will hex him to oblivion, even though he is one of my best friends. If he's as smart as I think he is he won't try anything. But he can be very unpredictable when he wants to be." Hermione says, and I know that her and all of the rest of my friends will stand up for me if anything were to happen.
"I guess so. Hopefully nothing does happen." I say, hoping that the rest of this year will go smoothly so all of my friends and I's last year of Hogwarts ends without a hitch. "Do you think that Blaise and Ron are getting along?"
"I assume so. They would have come back already if they weren't getting along. Even if there is some resentment Ron is trying." Hermione says and I know that she's right about my brother.
"I know, and I really appreciate it. I'm so glad to have such accepting and loving friends and family. I honestly don't know what I would do without you guys." I say honestly, as I am lucky to have the friends and family that I have.
"And we're all glad to have you as a friend and family member. But, if he does try anything you tell one of us straight away. Please, we don't want him to hurt you, or the baby." Hermione says sadly and just then I realize just how much they all do care and love me, and it almost brings tears to my eyes.
I open my mouth to say something but I'm cut off my the front door opening and closing, and I assume that it's Ron and Blaise getting back from practicing Quidditch.
"Hey." Ron says from the entrance to the living room and my assumption is proven correct, and I'm not surprised.
"Did you tell him?" Hermione asks, jumping start to what was apparently on her mind, which I honestly expected her to do.
"About Harry? Yes, he did." Blaise answers for him before turning his gaze to me and his features instantly soften. "Hey, love."
"Hey. So what do you think? With the whole Harry still liking me situation?" I ask, wanting to know his thoughts and if whether they're similar to mine, or not.
"I think that he's going to be in serious trouble if he tries anything." Blaise says, and I can sense the anger and possesiveness radiating off of him.
"I can get behind that. But he's with Malfoy so I hope that he wouldn't do anything, unless they end things." Hermione says, and I realize that Harry won't do anything as long as him and Draco are together.
"Hopefully your right." I say, hoping that Hermione's right and that Harry won't try anything.
