Alex (continued chapter)
I smiled at Lani as she looked at me from afar, she was talking with Scarlet as I sat down with Niah. This party that Carmen threw for us is dumb wild, we don't know half of these people.
"Can I have some?" Lani asked while sitting in my lap taking my cup.
"Yeah, but don't drink too much," I said wrapping my arm around her waist.
"So what happened yn?" Niah smiled as I chuckled softly. "YN" is a shorter version of yesterday night. "I was in it G! And this morning!"
We dapped each other up and I used my free hand taking my cup from Lani. It was empty and I remember filling this cup up to the top, my baby loves Hennessy just like me.
"Yeo shorty just finished the cup." Niah passed me the bottle and I filled my cup yet again.
"I love this song." Lani and I said in unison as "Into You" by Fabulous came on. "Slide-in," Niah said faintly while we got up holding each other's hand.
Lani clung onto me as we swayed back and forth, she's so small compared to me and it's cute.
"You're trying to get nasty." She looked at me as I nodded my head. "I'm sliding in you when we get home," I said grabbing her face looking in her eyes.

"Thank you guys for coming and supporting Alex and me. We truly do appreciate everyone being here and we also appreciate the gifts we received," Lani said holding my hand.
"Yeah, it was nice seeing y'all and a big thank you to Carmen and everyone who helped her set this event up. Thank you to my girlfriend for putting up with me." I kissed Lanis' cheek.
People applaud and left. This party had been going on for hours and it's 1 in the morning. I've been to parties this late but I've never been so tired.
Niah POV
"What did you get them?" I asked sitting down at a table with Scarlett. "I got the throw pillows," Scarlett said taking off her jacket and hung it on the back of her chair.
I got them a little date night box. It's a box filled with cards that have ideas for dates and stuff, it's corny but it's something.
"So I met this girl at the dog park today and I don't know it just seemed unreal," Scarlett said grabbing her cup and the Ciroc bottle.
"Continue," I said pushing my cup over to her.
"We talked and walked our dogs together after that we went our separate ways." She smiled filling up both cups.
"Ooo my girl putting herself out there." I laughed taking my cup back. "What you think about their relationship?" Scarlett asked taking a sip pointing over to Lani and Alex over at another table
"As long as Alex isn't hoeing around, we're good." I joked looking over at them. They're swallowing each other's faces like it's normal, Lani unbuckled Alex's belt putting her hand in her pants.
"Some of us just want a quiet drink." I chimed in as they broke apart. "Sorry," Lani said shyly rubbing her arm.
"Were you being serious about those things you said to Carmen," I questioned crossing my legs. "Absolutely not, she isn't my type." Scarlett scoffed as a weight lifted off my shoulders.
"Goodnight guys, see you tomorrow." Lani waved goodbye while Alex kissed her neck. I laughed waving goodbye in return. "You wanna go back to my place." Scarlett offered. What's the worst that could happen
"Yeah, I'm down." I got up pushing my chair in. Wish me luck.
Lani morning
"Alex I can't go home like this!" I groaned while packing my bag. "I didn't tell you to drink." Alex chuckled stripping out of her clothes.
"You gave them to me!"
"Forgot about that part." She laughed laying out her clothes on the bed.
"Baby I gotta go home." I sighed putting my bag over my shoulder.
We kissed each other goodbye and I closed her bedroom door. My head is screaming bloody murder, I don't know where I'm picking up all these bad habits.
I made it home and opened the door quietly. I made it to the final step as it creaked making my dad move on the couch.
"Where you been?" My mom said crossing her arms.
"I was over my friends' house." I said swallowing the lump in my throat."Why your eyes so red? You been with that girlfriend of yours huh?" She grabbed my face examining every last bit of me.
"Don't tell daddy please," I whispered feeling tears swell behind my eyes.
"Just don't let it happen again."
I gave her a hug feeling her hand rub my back in circles. God is good all the time. "Go get ready for school." She kissed my cheek and let me go.
My room is nice and neat with everything the way I left it. I opened my closet picking out my outfit for the day.
I stripped out of my clothes turning on the water. I groaned feeling the water hit my back. After my shower, I got dressed and headed to the kitchen.
"I made you breakfast." She gave me a plate with pancakes and bacon.
"Thank you ma." I smiled eating my bacon first then drowned my pancakes with syrup.
I finished eating and gave her a kiss while holding open the door.
"You look somewhat better," Alex said giving me a kiss on thy lips. "I feel somewhat better," I said putting my hands in my pockets
"Bus is early today," I mentioned as the bus came down our street.
"This week is gonna be crazy and I just wanna focus on myself." I inhaled deeply laying my head on her shoulder.
"You mean focus on us? There's no "you" anymore."
"No, because I have the talent show after that I'm doing a project in history then I have to do college applications," I said taking her hand in mine.
What can I say? I'm a busy woman now and I want to have my life straight.
