Pushing the door open Clarke stepped inside the small apartment. Smaller than the one she had with her mother and father on Mecha Station. She stood in the doorway as she looked around examining the room. The remnants left behind by some unknown person. It felt weird to her, to stand there and claim an apartment that didn't belong to her. Her new home, that was once someone else's. Letting her hazmat suit that she folded up fall to the ground by the door Clarke rushed over to the old tattered couch that seemed to hold its dark grey color well and she plopped herself down. Reveling in the fact she was still alive. An aching feeling in her gut, that she might not have made it. But she did. She was here with her friends. Alive.

Letting the cool breath leave her lungs she closed her eyes hoping to just rest. Relax. Raven was scrambling around to fix everything she could. Making sure the oxygen would last, making sure the water would be filtered, getting the machinery and power working on all the levels. Clarke wanted to help of course but after she took a single minute to relax. That's all she wanted.

"Ahem. ." A voice cracked from the doorway making Clarke open her eyes and sit up on her elbows to see Bellamy leaned against the doorway.

"Raven wants us to raid the cafeteria, see if we can find any more food. She's paranoid I guess the MRE's won't be enough to keep us alive before we can get the farms up and running." He says.

Clarke rolls her eyes, rolling off the couch landing on her feet she stands and walks over towards Bellamy.

"There's only two farms on this ring. We're going to have to ration, a lot." Clarke says making Bellamy chuckle to himself.

"I'm pretty sure she already knows that but it's worth a try."

Clarke nods as she walks past Bellamy. She can hear his footsteps following behind her as she walks down the machine humming corridor. A sound she did not miss, but now has to readjust to the next six years. There's a lot of things she has to readjust to for the next five years. She won't be able to hear her mother's voice. Know if she's okay. Clarke pushes the depressing thoughts from her mind as she and Bellamy make it to the cafeteria, the door behind the safety glass windows, where they once picked up their food was left wide open. They both walk inside and sift through plastic containers and boxes. Lucky for them, they found a few crates of protein paste and a few MRE's.

"See told you it was worth checking out." Bellamy remarks.

Clarke smiles and picks up the crate handing it to him. He seems happier than usual. Which is odd, considering like Murphy he wasn't too thrilled to go back into space. .

Walking into the control room with Bellamy at her side as they carried the heavy crates of extra food in their hands Clarke looked around to see wires scattered around, while Raven stared at the screen. The screen, housing information of all the repairs the section of the Ark they were living in needed. While Monty fiddled with a few electrical wires right beside an air vent. Echo sitting in the corner just watching them, the expression of sheer confusion resting on her face. She had no idea what to do to help. She knew nothing of electronics, or wires. She was useless.

"Ugh dammit!" Raven whined swiping from left to right no the screen and reading a synopsis of everything she needed to fix on the apartment level.

"What's wrong?" Bellamy asked setting the crate of food he had in his hands down and looking over Raven's shoulder.

She spun around on her heel, her eyes closed as though she needed a moment to herself to calm down.  "Don't worry about it, I got it." Raven says grabbing the tool box on the table beside her and walking off down the hall.

Bellamy turns around to face Clarke, his eyes wide like he just avoided a hurricane. Clarke couldn't help but smile. Surprisingly, Bellamy seemed to be doing better. He seemed less stressed than everyone here.

"Guess that means we get to relax." Bellamy scoffs grabbing Clarke's arm.

"Lucky." Monty remarks as he continues to focus on the wires.

Clarke chuckles softly as Bellamy tugs her away, walking Clarke back to the new apartment she had just claimed. He holds his arm out stretched as though he were welcoming her to her home.

"Alright Princess you can go back to lounging on the couch." Bellamy remarks playfully.

Clarke smiles taking a step inside and looks around once more at the home someone had left behind. She turns around to face Bellamy.

"Where will you be lounging?" She asks.

Bellamy smiles. "Right next door."

Clarke's eyes widen. "All these empty homes and you chose the one right next door?"

"I wanted to stay close. ." Bellamy answers as though there was more to say but he quickly stops. "I'll be right there if you need me. To talk. ."

Clarke nods. "Okay. ."

Bellamy smiles and walks away from the doorway and is quickly out of Clarke's sight. She closes the door and walks over to the couch laying down once more. Maybe she will be able to relax.
