*Clarke sat at the back of the rover. Thinking for just only a minute. One minute is all she needed to herself. They were finally here. Coming down from space one year late. They must have had their reasons surely, Clarke knew they would always come down, but she had begun to worry. She heard nothing. Just radio silence for the last six years, and they were finally here.

"I thought you said the ship was small." Madi called out.

It is small. . Clarke thought to herself as she leaped down from the rover and rushed beside Madi as they both stared up at the ship preparing for its landing. This was not the same ship. This was not the ship Bellamy, Raven and the others went into space in. So who was this?

"Madi, go get my rifle, now." Clarke commanded as Madi turned away.

Madi came running back and handed Clarke her rifle. She looked through the scope to see the words Eligius Corp, Prisoner Transport.

"We're here!" Madi called out waving to the ship.

"Stop get down." Clarke said pausing. "I need you to back up the rover, get it out of sight and unload the guns."

"All of them?" Madi asked.

"All of them." Clarke answered, realizing this was not her friends. This was not Bellamy. This was someone else.*

Clarke sat up quickly in her bed as she looked around. Sweat beading down her forehead, her breath heavy. She was still on the Ark, safe and sound. She was still with Bellamy, her friends. She hated having these dreams. At least three times a week she'd have one. A terrifying dream of her running from the death wave or seeing a ship landing on the Earth. What bothered Clarke most was how real they felt, how she knew Bellamy wasn't there and neither were the others.

"The dreams?" Bellamy asked sitting up and wrapping his left arm around her.

Clarke nodded. "I wish they would just go away."

Bellamy smiled, resting his head against hers. "Maybe they will when we get to the ground."

Clarke smiled. "I hope so."

                                          POUND POUND POUND

"Come on lovebirds, we got shit to do if we're leaving today!" Ravens voice trailed through the metallic door of Clarkes apartment.

Bellamy smiled as he rolled out of bed and began dressing himself, and Clarke did the same. Today, was drop day. It's been six years, and 7 days. They could finally go home. Bellamy handed Clarke her pack, something they were all bringing with them. Extra clothes, food, and other necessities. They both pulled on their hazmat suits and zipped them up as they made their way to the control center. Raven and Monty were both doing calculations on the computer, something to keep them alive no doubt.

"Hey anyone there?" Octavia's voice echoed from the radio.

Bellamy smiled and picked the radio up in his hands. "Yes O, we're here."

"Bell, come on hurry up! First you were one year late, now you're seven days late. You guys need another two years?" Octavia said curtly.

Bellamy laughed. "We're working on it."

Raven ripped the radio from his hands. "Hey, pod launching is a lot harder than you think it is."

Clarke couldn't help but smile. They were finally going home. Octavia and the others had come out of the bunker six months ago, and not only would Bellamy get to reunite with his sister, but Clarke would get to see her mom. She was excited, no more than excited. She couldn't even describe the feeling. Overjoyed, eccentric, grateful.

"Okay, I think we've got it. Bellamy tell her we're leaving now." Raven commanded.

Bellamy nodded. "O, we're heading out."

"I'll be waiting. ." Octavia said a small amount of static on her voice.

Bellamy smiled and set the radio down. Raven was waving for everyone to hurry. She was more than ready to get out of this tin can. And like everyone here she was excited to go home.

Everyone piled into the pod, buckling themselves in as they did. Murphy, Monty, Harper, Echo, Emori, Raven, Clarke, and Bellamy. All eight of them. Raven began fiddling with buttons, while Bellamy held tightly to Clarke's hand. She was grateful to be going down to Earth with him. She was grateful, her dreams were exactly that, just dreams. She was happy, grateful she wasn't left behind. Raven closed the pod door, and sat in her seat fiddling with more buttons.

"Alright, lift off." She said as the pod rumbled from the disconnect of the Ark.

This was it, they were heading to the ground. For the second time. Clarke was going to Earth. It was different this time. Earth was their home, and they were willingly going. Willingly going home. They weren't prisoners, or criminals. They were fighters, survivors.
To Clarke's unease the pod shook and rumbled. The sound of loose debris, and metal filled her ears. It made Clarke nervous, but she trusted Raven. Raven knew what she was doing. She had done it before. Clarke closed her eyes and with one hand on her seat belt, the other squeezing tightly to Bellamy's hand she still didn't feel exactly comforted. Her eyes closed, squeezing them shut as tightly as she could, they began to strain and hurt, Clarke felt a large jerk and a loud thud. But what came after, was complete silence. Did they do it? Did they make it to the ground?

"Did we make it?" Harper's was the first voice to emerge from the terrifyingly dead silent pod.

Raven smiled back at them as she pointed out the window. The glimpse of green forest sat there like a picture hung up inside the pod. Everyone in one swift motion unbuckled their belts and stood as Raven opened the doors. The green forest before them sat untouched. Raven was the first to pull off her helmet and sniffed the air. Clarke followed after her and everyone else did the same. The air smelt sweet, with just a hint of dust to it. Raven crawled out, then Clarke, then Bellamy and the others. Clarke's feet steadily, on the fern covered ground she couldn't help but smile. The gravity felt different here then on the ark. It was almost intoxicating, like it wasn't real.

"We made it princess." Bellamy whispered.

Clarke smiled and wrapped her arms around him kissing his cheek. "We're home!"

(Sorry it's kinda short. Been having a bit of trouble with my Muse, so might be slow going. Stick around til the end, I think you're gonna like it. :))
