Bellamy stared down at the image of Octavia. The heavy metal frame weighing down in his hands, making his arms start to feel sore. He didn't want to look away from it. Bellamy missed his sister, but looking down at the image Clarke had drawn of her he found that he had actually forgotten a few details of her face. How Clarke remembered he didn't know, must have something to do with an artist's brain.
"You didn't thank her." Echo said pulling on the Skaikru jacket.
It was still weird to see her in Skaikru clothes. But Echo was right. He didn't thank her. He didn't have a chance to, she was acting so weird.
"I didn't have a chance she was being weird." Bellamy said setting the picture down onto the coffee table.
"She was acting kind of strange. Like she was uncomfortable I was here." Echo answered.
Bellamy nodded as he stood. "I'll see you later, I should go thank her."
Echo nodded as Bellamy turned and walked out.
Bellamy let out a sigh before knocking on Clarke apartment door. He stood there waiting a few moments but the door finally opened and Clarke peeked her head out. To Bellamy's surprise, she was crying.
"Clarke what's wrong?" Bellamy asked.
Clarke shook her head. "Nothing. . I just need some time alone."
Bellamy pushed his way past her and into the apartment as he looked her up and down. Her eyes were red, her nose was red, and her lips quivered as she tried to hold in more tears. She desperately wiped at the tears that were pouring down her cheeks.
"Really nothing is wrong? You're blubbering." Bellamy answered.
"I'm not blubbering." Clarke whined as she sniffled.
"You're not? So you're just sitting here crying for no reason?"
Clarke's brows furrowed forward. The tears that were in her eyes were now suddenly gone, like her body sucked them dry. Her fist tightening, and for a monet Bellamy thought she was going to hit him.
"You're being so incredibly rude right now! You barge into my flat, demanding that I tell you whats wrong with me. Everyone here is going through something Bellamy, and maybe not all of us want to talk about it. Maybe some of us don't have someone to talk to about what we're going through, like you do with Echo."
Clarke's words piercing Bellamy's brain. He was taken aback, by her sudden burst of anger and cold demeanor towards him. He didn't have Echo. He didn't understand why she would think that.
"Clarke I'm here. I'm here for you talk to me." Bellamy begged.
Clarke just stood there staring at him. Not a word leaving her still quivering lips. She was angry with him, and he didn't know or understand why. They were having such a good moment in his apartment when she gave him the frame of Octavia. Now all of a sudden she was sad, crying, and angry.
"Fine. ." Bellamy started towards the door. "Thanks for the drawing and the frame." He said slamming the door shut behind him.
Making his way to the control center, the place everyone seemed to be spending most of their time at now a days, he passed Emori, and Echo talking in the hallway. They were speaking Trigeda, and Bellamy could only make out a few words. 'He's been acting strange.' He passed them to have them stop and quiet down as he continued down the hall into the control center. Raven was hunched over her makeshift radio, while Murphy sat in a chair with his legs propped up on the table.
"Favorite Earth food?" Murphy asked tossing a bearing into the air and catching it.
"Cucumbers. . Especially when they're pickled." Raven answered.
Murphy smiled. "I think mine is tomatoes, they make everything taste good."
"Ahem!" Bellamy cleared his throat loudly to make Raven jump, as her head darted up to look at him.
"Ugh Bellamy. ." Raven remarked as she continued to fiddle with the radio.
"So I see you're working on the radio, does that mean the Ark is safe?" Bellamy asked.
Raven nodded. "As safe as it's gonna get."
Bellamy chuckled. "Anything I can do?"
Raven stared curiously at him. "Why aren't you with Clarke?"
"What?"
"Uhh.. I mean where's Clarke? Did you guys get to talk?" Raven corrected.
Bellamy glowered at her. "You knew she was bringing me something."
Raven nodded. "Yeah so why aren't you two. . You know, in bed?"
Murphy laughed. "Ha! Like that'll ever happen. They're both as stubborn as a rock."
Bellamy flashed Murphy an angry stare, and Murphy gulped his smile down and looked away from Bellamy's gaze to fiddle with the bearing in his hands.
"She gave it to me, and then she left in a hurry. I went to check on her and she was crying." Bellamy said.
Raven set the screwdriver in her hand down and crossed her arms over her chest.
"What did you do?"
Bellamy's brows raised. "I didn't do anything!"
Raven nodded. "You did something, because she was more than excited to give that frame to you."
Bellamy scoffed. "I didn't do anything Raven!"
Raven rolled her eyes. "Murphy's right, you two are as stubborn as a rock."
"See. ." Murphy answered.
"I came here to help, not be insulted." Bellamy spat.
Raven huffed loudly as she pointed to the crate of scrap and materials. "I need a few mid-sized washers."
Bellamy nodded and sat down on the ground as he began to sort through the scrap in the crate. Today was a pretty bad day. First he was happy and then it was ripped away by Clarke when she was angry with him, when she refused to talk to him. Bellamy knew Raven was right, he had done something wrong. One minute Clarke was fine and smiling then the next she was crying. Bellamy had only seen Clarke cry a few times but this was different, she was balling her eyes out and he couldn't help but feel responsible.
