A Little History Part 1✔️

Okay so this isn't an update it's just a summary of what's happened to this point. The part in italics will symbolise Jake and when it returns to normal typing (like this) then that means he became fully Death. Understand? I hope so.

So Jake was a bad boy throughout primary school. All through he dated many girls and didn't give a damn about his grades. He had fun twenty-four seven.

In grade 7 he became a prefect even though he was a bad boy. During this time he met a girl named Caitlyn. This was his real chance at a relationship that would actually last, but he screwed it up. He ended up leaving Primary school different.

December 2015,January 2016, his parents died. How? We don't know, but what we do know is that Jake knew about The Remnants and his parents involvement. Soon after Jake and his brother were sent to their uncle's house where it was quite clear they favoured the younger Thales more than Jake. Jake being upset turned to the rest of the Thales family in The Remnants.

This is when Jake became Death. Now this is where there are a lot of gaps. During 2016, Jake somehow got in touch with Hades and began hosting him, reconnected with Caitlyn, somehow discovered that she was hosting Persephone and made it all the way to being the leader of The Remnants.

By 2017, Death settled into his a double life. One gangster and one bad boy. Typical, right?

He continued to date many girls and with the free time and resources of his gang, he noticed the pattern. That he only dated girls with ancient names that held power.

So the question is where does Bradlin come in? See her name is normal, and she doesn't have history with wars and stuff. So where?

Anyways, Death somehow meets Zoe Nyx a girl with ancient history in her blood. We don't know how exactly, but he did.

Zoe sees Jake at school, dating all these girls, and decides she wants nothing to do with that. Fast forward to July holidays. Which is a whole month.

The first week Zoe goes to Durban with her friend Toni and her family. For some reason Death(Jake) follows her there.

Once in Durban she enjoys the day and fears the night. Death watches her at night protecting her from an unknown enemy. All these weird things happen at night and finally Death decides to get involved directly.

He gives her clothes with the gangs symbol. When she takes it to her mother, her mother recognizes the symbol but doesn't tell her how.

When they return home, they rest for one night. Toni goes home and early in the morning Zoe's parents return to work. Somehow at work the parents hear about the war that started overnight. The parents then decide it's safer to stay away.

Zoe takes care of her brother while her parents are away. She starts freaking out when breaking news tells her about the war, connecting dots about Durban. She peers out the window to the house opposite theirs and sees the symbol there.

The house was somehow burnt during the years, and the symbol was there ever since.

That night, Death chills at the headquarters. He then gets his sword and drives his corvette past Zoe's house. He stops by The San.

The San is an organization of myths and legends all across the world. Any myth or ancient tribes or anything legendary is a part of this organization. It is ruled by King Gunther which fears Death. Death wants to know who's hunting Zoe and kills all the guards and tortures the king with his powers.

Finally that night he crashes at Zoe's house without her permission and knowledge. In the morning Death befriends Zack, her little brother. When Zoe wakes, he scares her shitless. Once she's calm, Death connects all the dots for her.

Why his name is death, what he does, why he was in Durban and his history. He then takes Zoe and Zack to a bird park where they get attacked. There both of them see the true power behind Death.

With horrifying images burnt into their minds, the gang takes Zoe and her brother home and gave them sleeping pills. Death succumbs to Hades nagging and through the night he strengthens his power.

The gang then gets Zoe's parents and bring them home. On the way they are attacked by the enemy gang. Instead of a car fight, Death appears and handles it with his hands. Soon her parents are sent home.

Meanwhile Zoe dreams of all of this, her mind conflicting with her heart. In the morning she meets her parents. There Zoe tells them all the events leading up to that point. Zoe's mom, Isabelle, tells her why Death (Jake) is so protective of her.

Isabelle explains her history in The Remnants and her relationship with Isaac, Death's father. She explains why she will always respect Death even though her husband doesn't like him.

Two weeks had passed, and it was the last week. That Tuesday, the Nyx family decided to throw a party. Isabelle (Zoe's mom) invites her entire famiy, Toni, and Death's (Jakes) previous flings. Meaning Psyche, Bradlin, Aphrodite and Zoe's ex-boyfriend, Michael. There they dance for a while before tension rises.

Isabelle invites Death which arrives in a suit and black Ferrari. There the Nyx family kneels while everyone else staggers. Those who didn't know who Death was, and only heard him in rumours and from the TV, now knew he was Jake, their beloved bad boy.

Death greets the Nyx family and makes a beeline for Michael which tried moments ago to kiss Zoe. He threatens him and then leaves.

After that, Grandpa Ted explains the history of the Thales. How a descendant of Exodus, the titan of life, murdered both Thales and Nyx clans who were hosting gods. This descendent left one remaining Nyx who didn't hate him but admired him. This explained the connection between them all.

Death, in the meantime, was feeling betrayed. He made his way to the Headquarters where he picked up Caitlyn. He took them to a Nelson Mandela statue where they kissed, creating a path way to the Underworld.

Jake then ends up in the Underworld while Caitlyn is missing. An army of monsters flooded the world hunting Jake's enemies. In the end, Jake listens to Hades and decides to find Caitlyn.

Meanwhile, everyone at the party is rushed to the Headquarters by Luke. Once there he explains whats happening out there. Grandpa Ted tells them about another legend. All in all they connect all the dots.

Luke then chooses Psyche to find Jake. He takes her down a memory lane and makes her the chosen one. She accepts and gets a team to help her including Bradlin.

She finds out whats The San, gets locked in Zoe's house and faces...something.

There, summarised. Twenty chapters into one. Hope you understand. This book I an really passionate about and I hope you appreciate this.
