A few hours later, Tyler looked out his bedroom window. "It's really coming down..." He went and sat on the bed. "Sugar, we're going down, swingin'." Bryan put chapstick on his lips while watching the movie that was on. "Have you talked to James?" James was Bryan's boyfriend. He was bisexual. His family never supported him. Tyler's family didn't either, he was pansexual.
"N-No." He looked away from the screen, his face flushing, eyes watering. "Dude, what's wrong?" Tyler lied back. "He broke up with me. He found a girl. He said he fancies girls more, and there's no need in dragging me along." Tears started rolling down his cheeks. "I'm sorry, I know you liked him. He was an ass. I never liked him, but yeah." Tyler said growling. Bryan tried to crack a smile, wiping his tears. He turned and looked back at him. "You never like my new boyfriends or girlfriends."
Tyler grabbed Bryan's chapstick and pressed it to his lips as Bryan turned around again. He held it there, not moving it as he closed his eyes. He then applied it and closed the cap. "You have a bad taste." He said. Bryan turned around, and crawled up to him. "I have a bad taste in best friends." Tyler pushed him back playfully. Bryan went to fall back on the bed before he grabbed Tyler's shirt. "Huwgh!" He got snatched up and on top of him. He lied flat as Tyler was on top of him. Tyler sat on his waist, with legs folded on each side. They both laughed hard.
"You never like them and you always take my chapstick!" Bryan huffed, playfully. "Whatever." Tyler got off and lied back. He switched himself around so he was lying on his side beside Tyler. Tyler looked at the ceiling. Bryan held his head up on his hand beside him. "Why is that? You even took my hoodie the other day, you jerk. You still haven't given it back. You wear my shirts too." Bryan said. Tyler turned his head to look at the blue eyed boy. "You take my stuff too. You have my shirts, sunglasses, my moon necklace, my denim jacket." Tyler said. "Yeah, okay, so?" Bryan raised a brow.
They smiled at each other. "Best friends. Your stuff isn't yours, it's ours." Tyler said. "Your stuff is mine." Bryan chuckled.
They finished the movie. Tyler heard a small sniffle as he looked at him. "Are you still sad about James?" They both leaned up. "No, n-not about him. I'm just...there's a lot on my mind." He sighed, crying. Tyler wrapped his arms around him as he pulled him in. He heard the rain beating against the window as he held his friend.
"Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day. All the world is waiting for the sun."
He sang softly as he ran his fingers through Bryan's hair. Tyler felt him pushing him back. Tyler lied down, not letting go of Bryan. Bryan lied on top of him. Tyler wrapped his arms around him, as Bryan cried in the crook of his neck.
"I'm so depressed, and everything is getting w-worse. Inside...it's r-raining..." he cried out.
Tyler thought about it. "Just, talk to me." Tyler could feel Bryan let his body weight ease onto him, like a cat. "It sucks. I try, really hard everyday. Nothing I do is good enough for anyone, not even m-my damn self. Why is everything I do wrong?" Bryan cried. "I think you're perfect. What even is good enough? You don't have to be "good enough." You're amazing, B." He said. "Sometimes, I think of my death. How it's going to happen. An accident? Old age? Sickness? Myself. Sometimes I want someone to notice and help. Don't let me go..." Tyler held him tightly after that, face flushing. "I'll never let you go." Tyler said, tears forming. Bryan had tears stream down his face as he fell asleep on top of Tyler. Tyler stayed up, playing with his hair.
"To lie here under you, is all I could ever do..." Tyler sang softly.
All night, they stayed like that.
A month later, things got worse. Bryan was kicked out for attempted suicide. Tyler took him in, and gave him his own room in his house.
Bryan walked in the kitchen one morning. He wore Tyler's old school art club shirt, and his own boxers. Tyler looked at the cinnamon rolls in a pan. "That's all mine." Bryan said as he grabbed a coke out of the fridge. "You wish." Tyler smiled at him. "I know."
Bryan walked in the living room with a smile. A gasp followed. Tyler closed his eyes, smiling. Bryan ran into the kitchen. "No way that's all mine." He laughed. "Yes way." Tyler said. Bryan turned him around and hugged him. Tyler had ran to the mall that morning. He bought tons of junk food, Bryan's favorite drinks, favorite color in
converse, Nike joggers, and a shirt with a Linkin Park symbol. He put them all in a brand new expensive Nike bag and put it on the couch. "Why'd you do that?" Bryan laughed. "Why wouldn't I?" Smiled Tyler
