I nudged open the door with my foot. She was on her third slice of pizza, her second slice of bread.

"God someone's hungry," I smirked.

"Yea I know you really work up my appetite," she smiled, a string of cheese dripping down her chin.

I sat on the opposite side of the bed, and laid out the other plates.

"So how have you been, soccer captain?" She smirked, eating a wing. I blushed.

"Decent actually. What about you?" I asked.

"Well uh I finished my radiology courses and got the job last year, right after school." She told me. We took the time to catch up, listening to the drizzle. We laid there talking for hours, until she fell asleep on me.

I knew it was a dream because I was in school. Or more, she was too. I walked over to her, lacing my fingers through hers.

"Hey beautiful," I told her, kissing her forehead. She blushed, burrying her face into my chest.

"Long night?" I asked her. She nodded. I noticed a silver band on her ring finger, I wear I saw before.

"Where'd you get that?" I asked her. She smirked. I can't believe we got engaged either," she chuckled.

°°°

I woke up to her roar.

"I don't fucking care if you guys fucked and now you're all good but I still fucking hate-" Sam started.

"I don't fucking care if you hate him. He is my best friend Sam. The only reason you hate him is for what he did to me. And you don't even fucking know what he did," she growled back.

"He was there for me.when you weren't. Sure he fucked up but at least he's trying now. You fucking gave up Sam!" She cried, tears starting to drip down her face.

I realized she was in my shirt as she walked back into into the room.

I offered her my arms and she took them.

"Shh," I whispered, putting my chin on the the top of her head. I looked up, and saw Sam.

"Go away," She growled. She didn't sound as menacing with tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry ok," he whispered.
"

Just go," I whispered. He left.

"It's ok," I whispered, ruffling her hair. I picked her up by her hips and fell back, holding her.

"You're still mad at me aren't you," I whispered to her.

"You know it." She whispered back. I sighed.

"I deserve it, I mean, I abandoned you when you needed me the most. And when stuff went bad.. I got scared. And then, well you know," I whispered. She put a finger to my lips.

"It's ok," she whispered back.
"Are you sure?" I asked.

"We were both scared. We were both kids," she whispered back. I realized now, her legs were tangled in mine. A knock on the door frame made us both jump.

James tossed a bag of Chesters onto the bed.

"Breakfast," he told us, pulling a can of Dr. Pepper and a can of Mountain Dew out of a different bag. We ate and she just slept most of the day on my chest.
