I woke up the next morning in my own bed in Chino Hills and it felt great. I definitely missed Cali and it's great to be home.

I checked my phone and saw multiple text messages. One from Sierra, one from Cameron, one from Gina, and one from a really good friend of mine.

Sierraaaaaaa:
"Girl! We have to hang out soon before you guys go to Australia!"

Cam ❤️:
"Hey beautiful, I hope you had a safe flight home. I love you!"

Mama Dallas:
"Hey sweetie! I hope you had a good flight home!"

Justin:
"Hey! I heard you're back in Chino, let's go do something crazy and catch up!"

I laughed at Justin's text. Justin was a really good friend of mine in high school and we would always go on these crazy adventures. We were like adventure buddies.

To Sierraaaaaaa:
"Let's do it!"

To Cam ❤️:
"I love you too ❤️"

To Mama Dallas:
"I had a great flight and I miss you!"

To Justin:
"I'm in adventure buddy! What are we doing and when are we doing it?"

I brought myself out of bed and downstairs to eat breakfast. My mom was making breakfast and I smiled at the smell of pancakes and bacon filling the air. I definitely missed this. A home cooked meal.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." I smiled and poured myself a glass of orange juice. "Good morning. Hey guess who texted me this morning?" I sat down at the kitchen table and took a sip of my orange juice. "Hmm Cameron?" She asked sarcastically and I laughed. She knows Cam texts me just about every single day.

"Justin texted me this morning." She turned away from the stove and looked at me with a smile. "I remember Justin. You guys were really great friends. It'd be great to see you guys together again." She smiled. "Yeah, now that I think about it I kind of miss Justin. It would be great to hang out with him again and go on more crazy adventures."

She brought me a plate of pancakes, eggs, and bacon. "Thanks for making breakfast mom." I smiled as she sat down across from me with her plate. "Of course. It's your first morning back home and I figured you probably missed these home cooked meals. And hey, when you get the chance I would love to see all of the pictures you took." She said and it made me smile.

"Absolutely mom. That would be great. And I got a lot of pictures of the guys and they came out great. And you're going to love all of the pictures of the places we went to." Talking about the pictures made me more excited to show her. "I look forward to seeing them."

"Maddie I just want you to know that seeing you now and seeing how happy you are, I support your decision. And your dad will come around. He's already starting to come around." We both shared a smile and that was the best thing I could hear. "Wow, thanks mom. That means a lot."

My phone buzzed on the table and Justin texted me back. "Is that Justin?" My mom asked and I nodded my head.

Justin:
"We my friend are going to repaint my room. Doesn't sound crazy at all right?"

To Justin:
"Mmmm not really"

Justin:
"Well there's a twist and you won't find out until you get here so when you're done with breakfast and what not drive your pretty little butt over here!"

I laughed at his text and took another bite of my pancakes.

To Justin:
"Alright then"

I finished eating breakfast and went upstairs to get ready. I brushed my teeth again and then I threw on a pair of dark wash cuffed high waisted shorts and a black and white striped knotted shirt that showed my stomach. I curled my hair loosely and did only my mascara and eyebrows, along with the foundation process of course.

And when I was ready I completed my look with my black and white sk8-hi's and grabbed my black tri-fold wallet and went downstairs to let my mom know I was leaving.

"Hey mom, I'm leaving now. I'm not sure when I'll be back. I'll text you and let you know." And just then my dad came downstairs. "Where are you going?" He asked and I grabbed my keys. "Morning to you to dad. I'm just going to see Justin. You remember him right?" I asked and he chuckled. "Of course I do. Great kid." He said. "Okay well I'm gonna go now. I'll see you guys later."
