Chasing Cameron

Today is the day of the Teen Choice Awards and I was currently at Cameron's house getting ready. Cameron is nominated for Social Media King and Choice Male Webstar.

I was in the middle of doing my make up in the bathroom when Cam walked in. "What would you do if I just messed up your make up?" He asked and added a laugh. "I would kick your ass." I told him seriously as I was applying mascara. His jaw dropped but he was still smiling. "Goddamn!" He yelled. "Don't mess with a girls make up."

After curling my hair I slipped my jumpsuit on and it was formal and black and it had openings on the side and not too deep of a cut down the middle. And to finish the outfit, I put on black strappy heels.

"Why is my girlfriend so beautiful?" Cameron asked from behind me and I turned around and smiled at him. "Let me get a picture of you guys!" Gina said excitedly and Cam came and stood next to me. "You guys look so cute!" Sierra smiled. Cam and I took pictures for Gina and then it was just about time to go.

We got to the red carpet of the TCA's to take pictures and to get interviewed. Cam and I posed for pictures and we both got some separate ones along with separate interviews.

"Maddison! Is it okay if we pull you aside for a second?" An interviewer asked me. "Yes of course!" I nicely said. "What's it like to see Cameron being nominated for another teen choice award?" She asked. "It's honestly pretty great, I've watched him grow through the years and accomplish so many things so to see him being nominated for two more awards this years is really amazing."

"And we understand that MAGCON just finished with their last stop and we all want to know what the huge project is coming to Netflix and if you could spill some details?" Over the summer Cameron has been posting pictures that have been a "Chasing Cameron" tease, if you want to call it that, basically showing that some show about Cameron is going to come out on Netflix soon.

"So there will be a show coming to Netflix soon, I cannot spill that much information so all I'm going to tell you guys is to be ready for it because you guys are going to see some pretty crazy stuff."

"Awesome can't wait to see it! And what is the best choice you've made today?" She asked. "Watching Stranger Things this morning while eating breakfast." I said and we both laughed a little. "Hey that's a great choice!" She agreed.

"And last question before we let you go, what is your choice ice cream flavor?" She asked. "Definitely cookies and cream."

"Awesome, thank you so much for stopping for an interview could you give us a quick 'buzz ya later'?" She asked and I looked at the camera and said "Buzz ya later!" And pointed to it.

I caught up with Cameron and we were about to leave when we were stopped by an interviewer. "Maddison, Cameron can I have a second please?" She asked and we both agreed.

"So how is my favorite power couple?" She asked and Cam and I both grew a wide grin. "We're great, better than ever." He wrapped his arm around me and I looked into his eyes and smiled.

"So Maddison, what is it like traveling around the world with your boyfriend and on an amazing tour with so many guys?" She asked. "It's been pretty interesting. I love seeing the world with my boyfriend and traveling with all of the guys made it more exciting."

"And Cameron, what's all of the buzz with this new Netflix show?" She asked him. "So yes, there is a Netflix show that will be released in a few months and it's going to be great. That's all I can say about it right now because I don't want to spill too much but be ready for it."

"Alright can't wait! And one more question for the both of you, what is your choice date night?" She asked. "Um sometimes we like to do fancy but every once in a while we have to do a fun adventure date night."

After we were done doing interviews, there was a section backstage that we were lead to and it was a tropical, beach, Hawaii, kind of theme and I was throwing the beach ball with Sierra when I saw Jenn McAllister.

"Jenn hey!" I haven't talked to Jenn in a very long time so it was nice to see her again. "Oh my god hi!" She got up and gave me a hug. "How have you been? You look so good!" I told her. "Thank you so much, you look gorgeous! And I've been good, still doing YouTube. How have you been? How was MAGCON?" She asked. "Thank you! And I've been pretty good, MAGCON has been pretty fun. Stressful here and there but fun."

We chatted for a little then all of a sudden I hear, "Cameron this is your first surf board of the day!" I turned to look at him and he was being handed a surfboard for winning Social Media King! We all started clapping and Sierra and I went up to him and gave him a big hug. "Congrats Cam!" We both said. "Thank you both so much!"

After all of that happened we found our seats and enjoyed the show.

Laura Marano and Maia Mitchell came on stage to announce the winner for Choice Male Webstar and I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest so I couldn't even imagine what Cam was feeling. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me and smiled.

"And your Choice Male Webstar is, the Dolan Twins!" Laura said and my heart dropped just a little bit. We all clapped for them and I looked at Cameron and smiled. "Hey, it's okay that you didn't win. You just continue to progress and get up there and then you'll kill it next time. This should be your motivation to work harder." I said and he smiled and gave me a kiss. "I love you." He said. "I love you too."

I ended up texting Taylor later on that day telling him that I was sorry that he didn't win Choice Snapchatter, I know how bad he wanted to win it. He was so excited when he found out that he was nominated for it and he texted me first thing so it blows a little.

I think that the Teen Choice was fun. I ended up seeing Taylor and we chatted a little bit. It was nice to run into him.

We got back to Cameron's place and saw that the bed was completely ruined. My jaw dropped but Cam chuckled. "What's so funny?" I turned to look at him. "Think about it, we went into the TCA's with everyone and walked out with one less person."

I thought about who we didn't walk out with and I smiled a little when I found out who it was. "Joey would do something like this." I laughed. I snapped a picture and said "good work" in the text bar and sent it to him.

"I'm kind of bummed Taylor didn't win tonight." Cam said. "Me too, speaking of Taylor, are you guys okay now?" I asked him. "Yeah, we'll be fine. Tonight made me realize how much I care about him and I hope that he succeeds."

Cameron and Taylor's bond outside of MAGCON is so much different than what it is inside of MAGCON. I don't want MAGCON to get in between their friendship and hopefully it doesn't.
