Today we are in Santa Barbara just to have some fun. And by we, I mean the whole MAGCON family. I think we could all use this right now and I'm pretty excited to spend time with the MAGCON family especially outside of MAGCON.
I was getting ready for dinner in the hotel room that I was sharing with Mackenzie. It might sound weird that I'm sharing a room with Cameron's assistant but it isn't, we get along very nicely. She's a cool person.
I was wearing a skin tight gray long sleeve shirt with black high waisted trousers and simple black pumps. I did my whole make up routine and lightly curled my hair.
"So what are you expecting when you see Bart tonight?" She asked me. "Um, I'm expecting it to be a little weird. Taylor was calling him out on Twitter last week so there might be some tension there."
"How does Cameron feel about seeing Bart again?" She asked. "Um, I don't know actually. I think he feels like it'll be weird to see him because of the business stuff lately." I responded. "Yeah I get that. Well on the bright side you look good tonight!" She complimented and I spun around and posed. "Yes girl!"
We all met at the restaurant and Mackenzie and I met up with Gina and Sierra.
"You always look so hot when it comes to events like this!" Sierra complemented my look and I smiled widely. She took out her phone and started snap chatting. "Give me a little pose!" Sierra said and I smiled and spun around and posed and then did more silly and fun poses. "Work it girl!"
Cam came up behind me and yelled to scare me and it actually worked. I jumped a little and screamed kind of loud and he started laughing. I covered my face in embarrassment because not only were we in front of everybody, but Sierra was recording that part too and it's probably on her story now. "Cameron" I whined as I felt my cheeks turn red. I uncovered my face and saw that he was still laughing along with Blake by his side.
"Ah!" Blake was mocking me in a high pitched girl scream and they both continued laughing and I couldn't help but to laugh a little. "Babe you look beautiful." Cam said after he was done laughing and I rolled my eyes. "Before or after you scared the crap out of me?" I asked jokingly. "Both, and during. Always. All the time. You look beautiful all the time." He said and I smiled.
Taylor came up to me a few minutes later to say hello. "How's one of my favorite people in the world?" He asked as he hugged me. "I'm glad I made it on the list." I laughed. "And I'm great, how are you?" I asked him. "I am feeling fantastic. I'm just dreading the whole 'seeing Bart' thing." He shrugged. I figured he would be.
"Just be nice. I think we could all use this night to forget about all the drama that has happened over the past few months." I said. "Maddie we can't just forget about it. As much as we try to push past it it's not going to happen." He said and I thought about what he said. "Okay no offense but we, or you?"
"Maddie don't do that" He said. "I'm not doing anything. Tonight we are going to forget whatever happened in the past and have a nice dinner that will rejoin us back together as a family." I positively said, and I even added a smile to hopefully lighten his spirit. "Okay Mads, I'm hearing you. I really am but we can't forget about what happened." He said. "No we can't, but just for this vacation we can." He intently looked at me and nodded his head.
"Just for this vacation?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Cam just wants us all to come together and to enjoy each other and each other's presence and just be a family." I softly smiled and for a second I thought he might've been on board. "We'll see how far that goes." He said and walked away and I sighed.
