Chasing Cameron

The show in Sydney ran smoothly. It was super hype the entire way through. I could tell the guys started to get a little tired and I guess Cameron was thinking about cancelling the second show in Melbourne because only 300 people bought tickets.

Melbourne, Australia

We arrived at the show in Melbourne and Cameron is wearing a bandana around his mouth because he has a cold sore. I guess him and Aaron used the same shaver, which was a stupid idea.

People have been not only tweeting Cameron but also me about why he has a bandana on his face. I didn't think that having a bandana on his face was going to be that big of a deal but I understand that people are curious because he really never took it off.

Our second show in Melbourne went very smooth, especially because there are only 300 people so meet and greets were sweet and to the point. We also did meet and greets in the beginning of the show which I kind of liked.

Cameron still isn't feeling MAGCON. He's not really sure whether or not he wants to continue it. We've talked about it and it's his mental state. He just mentally cannot do it.

Los Angeles, California

We are back from Australia and I am currently with Bryant, Cameron, Joey, Mark, and Blake at an abandoned beach and we're all having a photoshoot sesh.

I brought my camera too because I want to learn more from Bryant and I took this as an opportunity to do that. Bryant was also taking pictures of me and he got some really nice ones of me and Cam together.

Later on that night we lit some sparklers and messed around with those. The day was great, especially because it was well spent at my favorite place in the world, which is the beach.

When I got home that night I decided to call Taylor to see what was up with him. It's been a minute since I've talked to Taylor and I genuinely miss him because Taylor was an everyday person in my life, mostly everyday, and I kind of miss him.

He picked up on the third ring, "Maddison Matthews, what can I do for you?" He asked and I smiled a little. "Hey Taylor, I just wanted to check up on you. How's life?" I asked him. "Um it's been alright. It could be better. I'm trying really hard to get out of this contract with Bart. But you know, nothing new."

He sounded a little on the down side. "Anyways how was Australia?" He asked. "It was pretty fun. We got to hug Koalas. We missed you." I said and I heard him laugh a little. "Yeah I'm sure you guys did." He said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes even though he couldn't see it.

"You know believe it or not, some people on this tour actually care about you." I reassured him. "Yeah you're right, everyone clap it up for the two people that care about me, Maddison and Colby." He said sarcastically and I sighed. "Alright I'm coming over." I said without any explanation and hung up.

I know that Taylor is super worried about getting out of this contract and right now I think he just needs to take his mind off of it. So I'm going to go over and be the friend that he needs right now.

I got to Taylor's house and Cameron called me. "Hey what's up?" I asked when I answered. "Nothing I was just calling to say goodnight, what are you up to? You sound busy-ish." He said. "I'm actually at Taylor's house."

"Taylor's house? Why, it's almost 11." He asked curiously. "Just to talk to him. Catch up. Hopefully take his mind off of the contract. I just feel like Taylor needs a friend right now." I told him. "Okay well have a goodnight and let me know how he's doing." I could hear the sincereness in his voice and it made me smile a little. "Will do, love you." I said. "Love you too."

I knocked on Taylor's door and he opened it and looked surprised to see me. "You weren't joking." He said and I laughed a little. "Not really."

"Well welcome back to the Caniff residence, what brings you here exactly?" He asked confused. "I just wanted to see you and see how you're doing." I softly smiled. "Well I've been better but thank you for checking up on me. It really means a lot Mads."

"Any plans for the night?" I asked him and he shook his head. "I was probably just going to chill by the pool. Try and clear my head." He said. "Mind if I join?" I asked and he smiled softly.

Taylor and I went outside and sat in some chairs by the pool. "So what was your favorite part of Australia?" He asked me. "Definitely hugging Koalas. That hands down was amazing." I said and he smiled. "Wish I could've been there." He said. "We'll go back. For your birthday or something." I smiled.

"Hi Hoosier!" I said when Taylor's dog came outside. He came over to me and I started petting him.

"Maddie" He sounded like he wanted to get something off of his chest. "Taylor if it's about MAGCON I don't want to hear it. I came her to take your mind off of it." I said. "How does Cameron do it?" He asked ignoring me. "Do what?" I stopped petting Hoosier. "How does he meet so many people like that? Daily."

"Taylor, he's barely surviving. It's not only taking a toll on you, trust me. It's taking one on him too. I know you guys mentally can't do it. I know it's mentally affecting you guys."

"So you know why I want out of the contract?" He asked and I nodded my head. "I do, and I will stand by your side and support you."
