Short Story #7(pt.3)

*Two months later*

*Aphmau's p.o.v.*

My head felt dizzy. I felt sore , tired , thristy.

I opened my eyes slowly. The first thing I saw was Aaron. His head was in his arms. One of his hands were holding onto mine.

I smiled. I opened my mouth to speak but no sound came out. Ohh that was one if the side effects of the drug. The doctor told me I would lose my voice for a while.

I can't believe it. I actually lived through it.

He started stirring. I smiled. My left hand held his hand. I felt weak but strong at the same time.

He looked up. His eyes had bags underneath them. He smiled broadly. 'Hi princess ,' he said softly. I could only smile.

I realize there was an I.V on my right arm. It was pumping blood into my system.

Wait. They didn't tell me about that.

'I told you you'll live through it ,' he said kissing my hand. I smiled.

'Are you okay ?' He asked. I pointed weakily at my throat. He nodded.

'I'll go get the doctor. Be back in a minute ,' he said. He leans down and kisses my forehead.

He came back shortly with a doctor. He smiled. 'You are a figther. 'he said.

'The tumour is removed permantly and there is no longer anything there ,' he said.

I looked at the I.V. 'You lost more blood than what we expected. Your boyfriend here donated some blood to you ,' I tilted my head sideways.

'Here ,' the doctor handed me a notepad and pen. He left.  Aaron helped me sit up.

How long have you been here ?'

'I immediately got on a flight here when you said you were going for surgery  ' he repkied.

You didn't have too

'I wanted too. And I was lucky I did.' He said. He leans into kiss me but I pull away.

You realized my mouth will smell rank

'I don't care. I want to kiss you ,' he said. He leans in and presses his lips against mine.

'I love you ,' he said. I nodded.

The nurse came in. 'Excuse me sir. Visiting hours are over ,' she said.

'There's no need for that. I'm the only family she has ,' He said.

'Very well ,' she left the room. He sat down by my side.

I love you

He smiled.

Get some sleep my prince. You've been up for way to long

'I'm fine. Don't worry about it ,' I shook my head.

I cupped his chin. He leans in and pressed his lips against mine.

'Get some rest princess ,' he said as he kissed my forehead.

He sits back down and puts his head in his arms. His hand held onto mine.

*Timeskip to December*

I dragged my suitcases along the airport.

Toronto. Feels good to be back here.

I got my camera out. 'Hey guys. Jess here. So I'm finally in Toronto ! I'm here to suprise my boyfriend ! '

'His family already knows. Only he doesn't know. 'I said.
