At around 8:00, Lithi stood up. "We should be getting home." She said.
"No please stay!" Laura pleaded.
"It's Monday, which means dad invite his buddies over while we were gone and destroyed the house." Lithi explained. "There's gonna be glass everywhere."
"Can Sierra at least stay?" Mrs. Randle asked.
"Please Lithi?" Sierra begged.
Lithium sighed. "Fine. I'll clean up a kitchen full of glass by myself. It'll be fine."
Lithi turned toward the door.
"If any of you want a ride home, you better come now." She called.
"But we don't wanna go!" Soda and Pony complained.
Darry sighed.
"They can stay here tonight, Darry. So can you Johnny and Two. If you guys want." Steve offered.
"Pleasssse, Darry? Please, please, please?" The begged.
"Ugh fine." Darry gave in. "But you better be to work on time."
"I will!" Soda cheered.
"Dallas, you staying?" Steve asked me.
"Nah." I replied. "I think I'm gonna go look for some trouble."
"Ok, suit yourself." Steve shrugged.
"Well I guess I'm coming with you then." Darry directed to Lithi.
"Cool. Let's go then." She said.
They walked out and shortly after I heard a truck start and roll down the driveway.
