I knew something was wrong the moment I pulled up to the house. First off the door was open. The door is almost never left open, the boys usually slam it shut.
I rip the keys from the ignition and run inside, with Dallas right behind me.
Somehow Dally made it in before I did. He instantly ran to the living room, where Two-bit lay, unconsciousness on the floor.
Dally listened for Two's breathing and checked his pulse.
"He's breathing." Dallas said suddenly.
I nodded. Then remembered. Pony, Lithi.
I rushed into Pony's room. He wasn't there. I ran it my room. Neither of them was there either.
"Lithi?! Pony?!" I cried.
I heard shuffling in my closet before it opened and Lithium poked her head out.
She looked into my eyes and ran to me, wrapping her arms tight around my waist. Pony followed.
I held them both as tightly as possible, trying to cry.
"He's coming around." Dally said, rushing into the room.
I let go of Lithi and Pony and ran after Dally to the living room.
Two-bit sat up and rubbed his head. He smiled suddenly.
"What are you smilin' for?" Pony asked, concerned.
"I thought I was dead!" Two laughed.
"And that's something to laugh about?" Lithi exclaimed.
"I guess it's just the shock of everything." Two sighed.
"Who came?" Dally asked.
Two looked up at Lithi and they both looked at the floor.
"Your dad." Dally whispered.
"Yeah." Two answered for her.
"Anyway." Pony said, changing the subject. "Where did you two go?"
"Well, Dally decided to go to the police over the situation and the police didn't believe him." I started explaining.
"And?" Lithium asked anxiously.
"So he called me and told me to tell them what happened and he and I told the exact same story, so the police said they would look into it." I continued.
"So..?" Lithi questioned.
I nodded. "Yes. They went to your house."
