Dally's POV

Pony was sobbing when I walked into the Curtis's. He's such a baby.

I walked over to Two-bit wanting to ask him what was up with Pony and realized he was crying too!

"What's eating at cha?" I demanded.

       "Lithi...told us...." Pony sobbed hysterically.

        "What exactly?" I snapped.

Pony got up and ran to his room.

"Two, what the hell is going on here?!"

"Remember how Lithi told us that Mr. and Mrs. Curtis and Kat died in the same accident?" He asked.

       "Yeah, so?"

"Well, Lithi said that her "dad" was trying to kill Kat, Sierra, and Lithium and in the process killed the Curtis parents too!" Two cried.

No. Nobody would do that! The Curtis' didn't deserve to die like that! That bastard! Killing innocent people and hurting many more. Lithi's dad has destroyed more lives than he has to live!

"And where is Lith now?" I asked grimacing.

"In Darry's room. Darry is trying to get her to calm down and go to sleep."

I ran over to Darry's door and listened for a little bit. He better not hurt her.

I could hear Darry whispering and Lithi's quiet sniffles. I knocked softly and turned the knob.

Lithi was laying next to Darry, snuggling up to his side. Her face was red and tear stained. Darry was playing with her hair and whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

I realized then that I wasn't going to win any bet where Lithi was the prize. I hadn't cared to know how she was feeling, only wanting her for things that don't matter. Darry looked up at me. I nodded, signifying that the bet was off. He returned my nod and I hoped he understood.

I walked out off the room and sat on the couch. I had to help her. I owed her that.

I couldn't do it violently. I would lose Lithium's trust.

After a few minutes I knew what I was going to do.

For the first time in my whole life, I'm going to the police station willingly.
