You and Jake had just pulled up to the hospital, where you were going to surprise one of your biggest fan. Jake handed you a bag of merch while he carried the other. You walked hand in hand towards the reception and a nurse came over and lead you to where you were meeting the little boy whose make a wish was to meet you and Jake.
"So Y/N and Jake, if you follow me, we're going to meet one of your biggest fans Landon. He suffers multiple cancerous tumors and they're terminal." She announced, making your heart drop. As soon as you walked into the room, the boy had a huge smile on his face.
"Mom, it's Y/N and Jake, holy cow." He said excitedly, not believing the two of you were actually there.
"Hey dude, how are you?" You smiled reaching down to his height on the bed and hugging him, his little arms wrapped straight around you.
"I'm even better now you're here, oh my gosh." He grinned, Jake gave him a hug as well and his mom pulled over two chairs for you.
"So Landon, how old are you?" Jake asked.
"I'm twelve, thirteen in a few days." He answered.
"Landon, how would you feel if we gave you some merch?" You asked with a smirk, his face lit up even more when you handed over a Team 10 backpack which had a few sweaters and t-shirts stuffed in.
"This means so much to me, thank-you Y/N." He leaned over and mischievously kissed your left cheek.
"Hey now, keep them lips off of my girlfriend." Jake joked making him laugh.
"Before you got here, I was watching you and Y/N's recent video on her channel and I swear they get better every-time. You two really are such an amazing couple." Landon told you, your heart warmed. How could someone as sweet and loving as him have stuff like that happen to him?
"We appreciate it so much. You wanna take some selfies and pictures?" Jake asked, he nodded his head frantically and you, Jake and Landon's mom got your phones out. Many pictures were taken and a long conversation followed. Eventually, it was time to go, but Landon was so thankful and his mom was amazing.
"He was adorable." You smiled walking back to the truck.
"I agree babe, it's just a shame he has to go through such terrible circumstances." Jake sighed. Before you got in the car, Jake hugged you tight.
"I love you so much, today made me realize, I can never take you for granted because anything can happen."
