Nathan Speiser - Speiser BBQ

The Speiser's had been close family friends for years, and you, your parents and you older brothers had been invited to their BBQ. As they lived around the corner, you guys decided to walk. Your parents took the lead, then your brothers and you were just walking behind them all with your five year old doberman Chesney. Yeah, he was a guard dog and known to be vicious but your doberman, was the kindest and most adorable.

"Yo, mom, who else is gonna be there?" Your brother Michael asked her.

"Kade, Nathan, Doris, Genie, Audrey and Roger, but I'm sure a few others will be joining. I know Genie has missed Y/N since she dropped out of college." Your mom groaned, you sighed knowing that was probably going to be the topic of conversation for the rest of the night.

"I swear to god mom, if me dropping out of college is the only thing you wanna talk about tonight, I'm leaving." You told her. All she did was tut and before you knew it, you were at the Speiser's front door.

"Who goes through the front door to a barbecue nowadays?" Your other brother Carson mumbled. Kade opened the door and greeted everyone with a hug.

"You guys are the first ones here! We're all just chilling in the backyard." He smiled.

"How you doing Y/N?" Kade asked embracing you and then petting Chesney. 

"I'm fine, just save the wine, my mother has a habit of drinking it and opening her big mouth." You laughed walking through the house and out into the garden. 

"Hey Nathan." You hugged him, causing your dog to start barking.

"Ches, stop being so goddamn jealous." You whined, reaching down and hugging him instead, instantly making him stop. 

"Come sit Y/N." Nathan ushered to the big bean bags that scattered everywhere. It was literally comfort heaven. You let Ches off of his lead but he still clung to you, after all, you were the main family member who took care of him. 

"How have you been?" He asked.

"I've been good, just a little chilly." You shivered. Nathans eyes widened and he immediately took off his jacket and wrapped it around you. You couldn't deny it, you had always had a bit of a crush on him, but of course you couldn't say anything.

"Watch your moves son." Your dad pointed out taking a swig of his beer.

"Nates in love with Y/N." Michael poked his tongue out. Everyone's heads turned while your face grew red.

"Y/N's in love with Nate so it's all good." Kade called back, at least the truth was out now. And who would've thought that in two years, you guys lived in Los Angeles and were the power couple?
