Freesia woke up tiredly, screaming as soon as she realized that she was tied to a chair. Sobbing silently, she let out a silent croak.

"Help." suddenly, there was the sound of hooves coming closer and closer. She held her breath, scared for her life. Finally, a figure in the shape of a Skiddo came in front of her. "Wh-who are you...?" the terrified Kirlia asked, shuffling her chair back a bit in the dim-lit room.

"Funny you would ask, I was just about to introduce myself." the Skiddo ruffled their fur, giving a menacing glance. "Im Sundew." she said.

"I-I'm Freesia... I was named after a flower..." Freesia introduced herself quietly, slinking down fearfully. "Wh-why am I stuck to this chair? A-and please, let me out..." she begged. For the first time in her life, she wanted to go back to her family... Tears streamed down from her eyes.

"Sorry, buuut I can't do that." Sundew mused, circling around her. "You're here for a reason, you know. We didn't just take you here to say hi then bye."

The Kirlia squirmed uncomfortably. "Can you at least loosen them? They're getting tight..." she muttered truthfully.

"I'm not sure if I can do that... after all, I don't have paws, hands or- whatever..." Sundew mumbled. Freesia sighed.

"Just get on with it, kill me already. It's not like I had much to live for, anyways." she convincingly groaned.

"Kill you...? Kill you?? Really?? Did you think I was gonna do that? Ha, no!" Sundew chuckled hysterically.. "You were actually brought here for something much different than that."

"What? An ominous, cliche Prophecy? Sorry, but I'm not interested in fulfilling any of those for scraps of fur like you!" Freesia practically shouted.

"Scraps of fur.... You should really be a lot nicer to me, you know." she mumbled, "But anyway, what you were REALLY brought here for is because we want YOU to join us." The Skiddo smiled.

"WHAT? JOIN YOU? I HAVE A FAMILY! YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE ME AWAY FROM THEM LIKE THAT! GRAH!" The Kirlia raged, then using Magical Leaf to break the ropes and the chair. She got up. "I'm OUT of here!" suddenly, she had realized that there was no way out, and that she would get caught and murdered anyways if there really were any other Pokemon with this girl...

"You female Lillipup," Freesia snarled under her breath.

"You really think they care about you, huh?" Sundew huffed. "You're many, many miles away from them anyways, you're better off staying here, runt."

"B-but... My family... They may have been annoying at times but... But..." Freesia crumpled to the ground in defeat, her face covered with her hands. "Okay, Sundew. You. Win. Why do I have to join this, anyways?" she removed the hands from her face, wiping away her temporary tears.

"I'm sure you'll figure that out later, but anyways, I'm happy you're actually willing to join now." Sundew smiled.

"Where's the sign up sheet, then? There's one for the Lottery, so why not for this?" little did she know that tribes did not work like that.

"Tribes and Lotteries are two different things, you know. We don't waste time on paper for new members." the Skiddo sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Well, where's the exit out of here? I can't sense it anywhere near here..." the Kirlia, focusing hard on her future-sight-seeing as she put her hand against her temple.

"The exit is hidden." Sundew explained. "We don't really use normal doors and such."

Sighing, the Kirlia muttered. "Well that's just great." And then clearing her throat, looked directly at Sundew once again. "The exit. Where is it?"

"Follow me." Sundew motioned, bringing her over to the secret door.

"This looks like a plain wall to me..." Freesia sighed before putting her hand onto it, and suddenly, the door swung freely open, making poor Freesia topple over and out of the door in fear. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow... I've gotta get used to this, right?" she asked, pain lodging in her arm.

"Yep, we all did." Sundew sighed. "It gets less annoying after awhile, trust me."

"Well Wingull guts!" she cursed as a familiar Zorua walked towards the two.

"Hey, Sundew! Hello, Freesia. I see that you've finally woken up. Enjoying your stay so far?" Raiden asked with a slim smirk on his face.

"It's total cra-"

"Well, that's great to know!" he interrupted her happily with a straight face. "Everybody here just certainly loves their first day here. It's to DIE for! So now, since that you've entered, you have to fight somebody -preferably Sundew- to be accepted! Just so we know your true strength first... So go to the arena, you two, chop chop!" Raiden chuckled before padding off.
