Chapter 10 - Meeting Yunji

Finally, they'd made it to the Friendship Cafe.

"I hope this actually isn't The Cafe Of Love," Freesia whimpered. "I already got stuck in that, I'm not being mistaken for being both of your boyfriends." her face flushed red and she looked away. "N-not like I like any of you that much, anyways."the Kirlia confessed.

"Aha, so you're the type of girl that doesn't confess that much, however is obvious." the Dedenne teased.

"Sh-shut up...! Whatever your name is..." Freesia muttered.

"Yunji." He replied simply as they approached a table.

"Oh." the Kirlia sighed, as they sat down. "I'm Freesia."

"Nice name!" the Dedene grinned.

"Thanks." she huffed. Immediately, a Furfrou Waitress made it to their table.

"Hello! Welcome to the Cafe Of Friendship. I'm Mana, and I'll be your Waitress for today! And for every other day, but I'm also known as your host!" as she spoke, music began to come on and Pokemon rushed in with cameras as other Pokemon held items like those weird microphone things that are used when performing a show.

"Uhhh-" Freesia was boggled.

"Don't worry, leave this to me." Yunji whispered in her ear, which surprised her, due to her not noticing the tiny figure on her shoulder.

"Hey, Mana, buddy." he suddenly acted all cool, and she noticed some blush appearing on his face. "Uh... We've got a tight schedule, you're ho- I mean, not hot, I meant that you're pretty and all, but we are STARVING. Literally!"

The main Camera Man, a Sableye, rolled his sapphire eyes in frustration.

"Awh, but we haven't had any contestants lately, so you're still being on this show!" Mana sang.

"Shoot." Freesia could hear him mutter.

"Now, what would you all like?"

"A smoothie and a Friendship Cookie, please."

"A Elemental Eight and Licorice and Cocoa Bonbons."

"A Oven-Grilled Mudstale with Mustard and just some Blitz Juice, please."

Mana grinned. "Great!" The Furfrou barked before dashing off. In a few moments, she came right back. "Here ya go!" When she didn't give it to them, Freesia reached for the plates and cups, but instead, Mana backed away. "No, no, no! You have to win these by..." suddenly, two other Furfrous appeared by her sides. "Battling us!" suddenly, the ground shifted, the chairs and tables were replaced with bleachers and the cafe roof split apart, revealing the blue skies above them. Immediately, the ground became white with blue and red stripes on it. Quickly, Freesia got into a battle position.

"Aye, the chick seems ready for battle." Yunji said, grabbing onto Radar's ears with a determined and prepared face. "Are you ready? Because if you're not ready but the chick's ready, then we've got some improving to do!" on the bleachers sat the Pokemon that were in the cafe before them.

"I'm ready, let's cream these furballs." Radar neighed. Immediately, the Furfrous howled and charged. Yunji stomped on the Zebstrika's neck and leaned forward.

"ATTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" His battle cry rang throughout the arena-like-cafe. Freesia ran beside the two, her legs going as fast as she could.

"BUCK HER! BUCK HER! BUCK HER!" the Dedenne stumbled backwards as a Furfrou leapt behind them. Radar turned his head immediately and kicked the Furfrou across the 'arena.' Letting out a loud whimper, it landed at the far corner. However, this gave the two other Furfrous time to attack the group. Mana used Retaliate, while her assistant used Sucker Punch. Radar ducked under the Sucker Punch, but got hit by the Retaliate, pushing her into the right side of the arena. She howled loudly before ramming into his chest, causing Yunji to tumble off.

"THE EAR! THE EAR! THE EAAAR!!!" he cried out with shock. Radar quickly bent and pulled him back up, lightly nipping his ears. "One, ow, two, thank you, and three, let's go back to kicking butt!" the Dedenne grinned. Suddenly, Mana pinned Freesia to the ground and both of her assistants rammed into Radar once again, tugging him by the ear and back left hoof.

"Brace yourself," he growled and used Discharge to electrocute all three of the Furfrous. "Pfft, this happens every day." Yunji exhaustedly muttered after. Immediately, Freesia used Confusion on Mana. She blinked, shook her head, and snapped it towards Radar and Yunji.

"OH MY ARCEUS IT'S ENTEI AND MOLTRES!" she cried out, darting towards them. "I MUST PROVE MYSELF TO THEM!" rather quickly, the Furfrou pounced onto Radar, causing Yunji to fall off.

"Oh, you little..." immediately, the Dedenne bit into her paw and then used Thunder Shock. Mana immediately stumbled around.

"Starlies... Are... My life..." she muttered before toppling over. In a flash, there was cheering and applauds and soon, the cafe turned back to normal. They ate their food before going to their den, since it was night.
