Grunting, Freesia could feel herself being nudged by somebody else. She groaned, and looked up to see a Mareep.
"Who're you? I haven't seen you in the tribe before..." She glanced up at it.
The Mareep inhaled, then shouted "I'M JUNO HI YOUR NEW SO I THOUGHT I'D COME AND MEET- sorry..." he groaned.
"...Hi... I guess...? Do you know Sundew?" she asked, carefully.
"Uhh.. yeah why..?" the Mareep asked sheepishly.
"Look, I'm sorry that I fainted her and won against the battle I just wanted to be accepted into this tribe... Well... Not really, but my family is so far away and ohhhh! I'm so, so, so lost..." she weeped.
"I don't know what to tell you, chances are you might see them eventually... That didn't happen for me though, ha." Juno sighed.
"You actually killed your-" Freesia was interrupted.
"Yep! He sure did!" Raiden chuckled, coming beside them. "Hey, Juno! Remember when I stole all of your armour? Yeah. Good times." the childish Zorua giggled. Juno quietly backed up.
"Come on, wimp." he snorted, rather rudely. Juno backed up even more. "WIMP! Meet at the Arena. 3:40pm SHARP. And don't be late, or else this little neck of yours goes goodbye!" Raiden barked before storming off.
"Ughhh.." Juno muttered.
"Hey, what was that all about...?" Freesia asked, tilting her head sideways as she got up steadily.
"I-it's nothing.." Juno stuttered.
"Are you sure? He just scheduled a battle with you, I think that it's obvious that it's clearly something." she hissed in response. Juno let out a sigh.
"Let's just say, he's really not a nice person.." he mumbled.
"Are you guys childhood friends?" she asked, spotting the hidden, grassy door. What was the point anyways when this den was made out of grass? She mumbled something and glanced back at the Mareep.
"Uhmm... I don't know if you could really call us 'friends.'" Juno let out another sigh.
"But you could call me friends with that lil' trickster!" another voice suddenly snickered, a Electrike jumping towards them. "Name's Morpheus. You must've met the boy, Raiden... He's quite a feller' if you'd ask me!" he then laughed.
"Right.." Juno muttered.
"Anyways, you'd better stop talking about him." Morpheus started to circle around him, his face twisted into a unfriendly scowl. Juno attempted to hiss back, but it came out as a sound a sheep would make. This made the Electrike laugh loudly. "Weakling. You'll never get past what Raiden has in store for you. Face it, you're a Mareep. However, he's a Houndoom in a Mareep's clothing. There's a large difference between the two. Mareeps are weak. However, Houndooms that look like Mareeps..." he stopped dead in his tracks and came face-to-face with Juno.
"are even more braver and stronger than you can e-v-e-r be, punk." Morpheus smirked, waiting for the seemingly petrified but brave Mareep.
"On opposite day, maybe." Juno replied, then whacking him with his tail bravely. Morpheus just simply rolled his eyes.
"You'll see what's coming for ya', buddy." he shook his head in dismay before stepping out of the den silently.
"Hey, I have an idea." the Kirlia said. "We can both challenge Raiden... I heard him talking to that Electrike in the morning about surprising you by both teaming up and fighting you. Why don't we do the same?" she smirked.
"B-but he'll cream you! Literally! Isn't it better if only one of us gets hurt?" Juno said anxiously.
Freesia shook her head. "Friends never leave friends to rot." The Kirlia said, convincingly and warmly.
