Chapter 7 - The Cafe Of Love

Freesia yawned and stretched, walking through the village -or town- with Juno by her side. Suddenly, a building caught her eye. She only payed attention to the word 'Cafe'. This place had a cafe in it?! Sign her up! Immediately, she glanced at the Mareep.

"Come on! Let's go in!" the Kirlia encouraged him. Without letting him speak or even protest, she dashed in, to see that the walls were a light-greenish colour with pink stripes. The carpet had rose-coloured hearts, and on the purple tables and chairs sat Pokemon of different types, chatting, sipping their coffee... Some of them were even... Nuzzling...? Gee, when the phrase 'Get a room' is used, Freesia was pretty sure that the ones saying it actually meant it. She warily took a seat on one of the tables to a left corner and motioned for Juno to follow.

Soon, a waitress came to their aid. The Audino grinned as she stepped by their table. "Oh! A new couple! How delightful! Did you come here for your first date?" she asked cheerfully.

"Uh- we're just friends, though..." the Kirlia stuttered, boggled.

"Awh..." the Audino frowned. "The Cafe of Love has barely had anybody that says they're just friends... But nothing that I can't handle! Follow me to the Love Doctor!" she squealed with excitement.

"Wait, no, we'd just like to order something here please!" Freesia insisted, frantically. The Audino sighed once again.

"Oh well, if you insist... Anyways, what would you like here at The Cafe of Love?" she asked, giving the two menus.

"Erm... May I have the Elemental Eight and the Pickled Wasabi Tart?" the Kirlia asked. The waitress scribbled it down quickly on a piece of pen and paper. She then turned to Juno.

"And what would you like, young man?" she smiled warmly.

"I'll have some pancakes... and... water..?" Juno said, that wasn't a very creative choice but whatever.

She frowned. "Are you sure? That isn't a very good-tasting lunch... We want you to come back again and we want your first time to be the best, so please, take another look at the menu for a better, tasty lunch!" the Audino whimpered, begging the Mareep basically.

"Well... alright..." Juno sighed, "I'll have a Smoked Saber Illumise and a Lime Blizzard." he'd finally decided. The Audino scribbled that on, too. She then smiled, thanked them for ordering and told them their meal would come shortly. She then left in quick, short strides. Suddenly, an Espeon appeared beside Juno. He whispered to him in quite a loud one, so Freesia could hear it.

"Hey, dude, is your girl free?" he asked. The Kirlia sighed. Mate-hungry-Males these days.

"I'm not going together with anybody for your information, so Feebas off, Wurmple-brain." she growled.

"Ooh, somebody's a little snappy." he winked in an attempt to be attractive, creeping towards her. His tail wrapped around her back and he grinned a bit. "Nice to meet you, whatever-your-name-is."

"It's Freesia. And stop trying to get all lovey-dovey with me, didn't I say that I wasn't going together with anybody?" Freesia held back a hard slap to the face for this stupid Eeveelution.

"Not nice to meet you, Mr.Pedophile." Juno baa'ed.

"I wasn't talking to you, Mr. Mareep, I was talking to her, Mrs. Hot." the Espeon's tail flicked angrily.

"If you were listening, she clearly said she has absolutely no interest in you." Juno snapped.

"Are you deaf, Mr. I-Do-Not-Like-You-Espeon-So-Go-Away?" The Kirlia glared at the Espeon, but he just simply replied, ignoring Juno.

"I'd prefer Gaith, but thanks for the name suggestion anyways." Gaith's ears tilted back. "Baby, why don't you come with me? I can give you way more things than this worthless Mareep. Whatever his name is." the Eeveelution tried to nuzzle her, but she pushed him away.

"GET THE MAGIKARP AWAY FROM ME!" she shrieked, and used Confusion. Immediately, the Espeon blinked. He stepped away, and then blabbered out something that was enough to get himself kicked out of the cafe.

"THIS CAFE IS DUMB AND REPETITIVE! I HATE IT HERE! RACISM IS EVERYWHERE IN THIS CAFE! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Gaith shouted as loud as he could. In the blink of an eye and the swish of a tail, he was thrown out of the cafe with ease, landing on his head and falling onto his side before scrambling off, yelling even more nonsense and gibberish. Finally, after that embarrassing scene, the waitress came back with the tray.

"Was that Gaith? Ugh, I bet it was him. He must've been drunk again... I swear, drunken Pokemon..." she tutted, then placing the tray down, which had their food on it. "Enjoy!" the Audino chirped before dancing off. She was so caught up in her chatting that she'd forgotten to let Freesia and Juno pay her... Oh well! Free lunch for the win, right? The Kirlia took a bite into her Pickled Wasabi Tart, and immediately fell in love with it, along with the Elemental Eight drink... After they were done, the Audino bounced back towards them and grabbed the plates and empty, see-through cups.

"I hope I'll see you two together again later! But with a more advanced relationship! Teehee~" she giggled before walking away, muttering something like: "Kirlia and Mareep, sitting in a tree... K-i-s-s-i-n-g... First comes love, then comes marriage and then comes the egg that hatches later..." Freesia silently face-palmed.
