Chapter 6 - Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!

Convinced and bravely glancing onwards as she rode upon a Staraptor with Juno behind her, the Kirlia bent down to the Pokemon's head.

"Hey, Dyno...? Is there by any chance that you can move a bit faster?" Freesia asked.

"Woah, you must be really excited for this! If I was up against that tricky little Zorua, I'd be shivering out of my wings, that's for sure!" Dyno laughed. "Alright, alright, you two hold tight." and then, he zoomed away. The wind roared against Freesia's ears. Her legs were now in one place as he dived down. When they got down, Duckletts spun around the Kirlia's head.

Freesia, dazed, stepped off of Dyno. "Th-thanks..." she mumbled dizzily before motioning for Juno to follow her down. Expectantly, Morpheus and Raiden were also there. If Raiden was surprised that the Kirlia was there, he didn't show it. But Morpheus's eyes literally popped open with surprise! Machamp introduced the contestants before finally letting them battle.

"Are you ready?" Freesia asked Juno quickly.

"Yep I'm ready..." he stuttered.

"Alright then! Let's go!" the Kirlia jumped towards the Zorua and Electrike. "GRAH!" She shouted, and sent a wave of Confusion at them. Morpheus jumped in front of Raiden and used Protect swiftly.

"Never underestimate the power of TMs and HMs!" he teased, cackling at the foolish little girl. Freesia fumed and used Lucky Chant so she wouldn't die or faint first chance. Raiden ran towards Juno as his tiny claws unsheathed and glowed. He jumped up and used Scratch, clawing the Mareep right across the face as scarlet drops trickled down wildly.

"And there goes Raiden, doing his famous Quick Scratch! He may not know Quick Attack, but boy, can he go fast!" The Machamp narrated proudly. Juno flinched, putting his paw up to the scar it had left. Juno used Cotton Guard, then hesitated for a moment, before using Thunderbolt.

"Grah!" Morpheus was hit. Suddenly, the two nodded at each other and charged at Juno. Juno used Electro Ball in an attempt to throw them off path. Instead, there was a another Protect. Juno seemed gravely annoyed they were spamming Protect, and decided to go with another Cotton Guard. Then, the two jumped up. The Electrike jumped into the air first, the Zorua following and bouncing off of his head for an extra boost into the air. He was now a silhouette against the sun. Morpheus used Howl, failing to scare Freesia or Juno, but achieving the goal to give Raiden another boost.

Then, Raiden let out a battle cry. "Zor-ua!!!" He dashed down to poor Juno who was frozen in his spot, not expecting this. The Zorua used Scary Face as he hit the Mareep, making a large hole in the ground. By then, Morpheus had landed, Raiden then climbing back up and leaving the hole where the bruised Mareep lay. With rage, the Kirlia used Confusion two times, getting the two a large surprise as it hit them.

"Agh!... Idiots!" Raiden muttered. Beside him, Morpheus looked dazed. He used Thunder Fang on the Zorua, and he yelped in pain. "Wh-what the Giratina, man?!" he snarled with rage. 

"Hey... Man... Since when did you have two heads and a Lycanroc face...? Also, why are you the colour of a Caterpie...?" the Electrike stumbled around. 

"Oh no." he muttered. "Confusion got the best of Morpheus. I guess I'll take matters into my own paws." he hissed. Raiden let out a shout as his form slowly changed. "GRAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he became bigger and his claws became sharp. His ears grew a bit smaller and small pieces of thin hair sprouted from his nose in a rough fashion. The Incineroar bellowed loudly, looming over the two now, even though Juno was still inside of the hole.

"You imbeciles... I will win this battle! Fools! Winner-Thieves! Caterpie dung!" the giant -if compared by his length as an Incineroar and the length of Juno and Freesia- stomped towards the two. He tried to reach for Freesia with a scruffy paw, but she gracefully dodged and peered over the hole.

"Juno! Juno! Are you okay?!" she shrieked with horror.

"I'm not dead... if that answers your question..." he huffed, and slowly shook his fur off.

"Come on, get up. We need to fight this idiot no matter what it- AGH!" she shrieked as the large, blood-colored paw grabbed her waist tightly and pulled her up to his face.

"You idiot. You thought that you could beat me. But you were wrong all of this time!" Raiden laughed loudly.

"No... I will... Beat you! Me and Juno... I believe in us... We can! We can do it! We'll defeat you right..." she closed her eyes for a second, and then opened them. "NOW!!" Freesia shrieked, before using Disarming Voice and Magical Leaf, making the Incineroar cover his ears and drop her. She motioned for Juno to come and fight with her with a small grin. They could defeat him! She believed it... And she had to be right. Juno leaped up from the hole and used Electro-Web to slow Raiden down.

"GRAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING... YOU... YOU... WEAKLINGS!!!!" His feet suddenly ripped from the web, and he roared loudly, using Flare Blitz.

"QUICK! TAKE COVER!" Freesia screeched, shoving the Mareep back into the hole. She then jumped in after him. "What do we do?!" Freesia panicked. "A giant is literally roaming around, waiting for the perfect chance to kill us!" the roars from outside of the hole continued as they spoke.

"Uhmm.... Maybe we can... trip him...?" Juno suggested.

"And how do we do that without him stumbling onto us and completely crushing us? We're basically up to his waist or so!" She hissed

. Juno thought for a moment, then said "Maybe.... We can get him near the hole and use our attacks to push him and have him trip...? I'm not sure..." he mumbled. "Fine, fine..." she muttered.

They managed to trip him in the hole, fainting him and then fainting Morpheus, too. In the end, they won and were rewarded with 1500 coins each. It was already the afternoon, now...
