Your POV
Ah yes. Another morning just like always. Nothing new. Same thing as I always do. For most of my life. Except I'm slightly less lonely. As you can see, I'm not too happy. Mainly from yesterday, except this morning added to it. At least yesterday it was a bit better. But this morning was bad, because my dad wouldn't stop telling me to skip lunch. You'd think he'd want the opposite, right? Nope. Whatever. I know there's somewhere in his black heart that he cares. But for now I'm stuck with my annoying dad. I walk to school, and you wanna know what happened? Some kid was running and I fell down. Great. Now everything hurts and some of my stuff is scattered everywhere on the ground. I start picking my stuff up and I see a hand give me my pencil holder. "Here. This fell out. And a few more things," Someone said as I looked up to see Michael. "Thanks Michael. I haven't had the best morning. My Dad's been really annoying and rude. He literally told me not to eat," I told him. "Geez. Any reason? Or is he just that way?" Michael asked. "Basically I thought my mom deserved better, because my Dad always told her to go away, and yelled a lot, so she divorced him, but I was left behind, Soooooooo my dad hates my guts. But, luckily, I'll be moving out soon," I said. "Hey,
at least you're gonna get away from him. Jeremy's Dad is divorced too, and he refuses to put pants on," Michael said. I snorted at that last part. "Refuses to put pants on...Woowwww," I giggled. I put the rest of my stuff back in my bag and start talking to Michael on the way to school. Jeremy later on joined us while walking inside, and we all ignored the chaos. We just talked, and Evan joined our group. I saw Conner stare at our little group, along with Zoe. But, Zoe joined our group. I looked surprised, well, can you blame me? She looked like she was fine with her friends. "Hey, I saw your little group and decided to join, if that's alright," Zoe said. We all smiled and Zoe talked to me until the bell rang. I walked to history. "Yes yes, class continue your work from yesterday," The teacher said. Man, this teacher doesn't waste time. I see Conner walk over to Michael and me. I sigh. "Great...Just to ruin our good morning," Michael mumbled. "Let's get this over with. What part were we at? Some Cupboard meeting?" Conner asked. I sighed. "Cabinet battle meeting. So I think we should get to when Eliza burns Alexander's letters after he cheats on her," I said. "Yep! Mainly since (Y/N) works really fast at getting the information. By that, I mean by memorizing Hamilton lyrics," Michael said as he laughed. I laughed a bit too. "Touché. Anyways-" I was cut off by Conner. "Why do you two act so friendly outside of class?" He asked. "Because we get along like friends..?" Michael asked more than said. "Yeah, right. Do you two get anything out of being friends? Money? Drugs?" Conner asked. I sighed in annoyance. "We don't get anything out if being friends. We chose to be friends because we get along, not because we got some drugs out of it," I said. "Come on, it's obvious t-" I cut Conner off. "Enough. We're gonna continue this now, and have no further questions outside of the project until class ends," I said. Michael nodded and Conner slammed the desk. "Why do you always change the subject?!" He yelled. "I'm not. I just want to work," I said. "Stop lying! There's a r-" I cut him off again. "That's enough. Yes, you're right, there's a reason why I'm changing topic, but I don't trust you with telling you anything. Now, we're continuing if you like it or not," I said as I started continuing our project. Today's been an on and off day.
