Your POV
All I see is white dust everywhere. Nothing else. Just dust. It doesn't feel like snow. It's just...Dust. "Well. I see you've found a way to work things out. The incorrect way of course," A voice said. Incorrect way? What does that mean? "You see," The voice continued. "Humans should not be trusted to make their own decisions. They should only trust machines for that. Machines don't let emotions get in the way,'' The voice said. I started trying to recognize the voice, but it didn't ring a bell. "You should recognize your own mental voice, (Y/N)," The said again. I turned around to see a face that looked like...Connor. That's what the voice sounded like. "Yes. I'm not actually Connor, but it's your mind. You're the one who is dreaming. So tell me. Why am I Connor?" The strange Connor Wannabe asked. I thought for a moment. "Ah. I see. You're hiding your feelings. So it's like that. You see, I'm here because your friend, Jeremy, used to have me as a guidance, but he got rid of me. I cannot help you outside of your dreams. That's good. You're going to think I'm bad, but have in mind, I'm a computer, errors may happen," They said. "If they make errors, why should we trust them? Sure, some situations shouldn't have your emotions get in the way, but you still need them to help. I'm not listening to you," I said. They shook their head. "The not the point. You see-" I cut them off. "Stop saying 'you see', you're being annoying on it," I said. "Fine. I'm giving you suggestions, and you should know for what. I'm sure we both know you're in love with Connor," They said. I froze. It's weird hearing that. I love Connor Murphy. I...love...Connor. That feels good to think. "You're going to wake up in a moment, and I won't be here. Don't do anything stupid," They said. "Wait! Who are you?" I asked quickly. "I'm a dream squip, but just call me Squip," The 'Squip' said. I quickly woke up. "What the hell just happened?" I asked myself. I got up and ready for school, still wondering what I just dreamed of. I must've looked insane, because even my dad looked concerned. My own DAD. Before I walked out the door my dad stopped me. "Hey, kiddo...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have blamed you for anything. Your mom..you mom made her own choice. I guess I just wanted to put my problems on you. You were right...I didn't deserve her. I should've known better. I promise I'll right my wrongs. I know you can't just easily forgive me...I've been terrible. I know it's gonna take time to forgive me. Just know that I'm sorry and...and I love you, (Y/N). I always have, even though it didn't seem like it. Now go knock them dead, kid. Do me proud. And maybe bring home a husband?" He joked at the last part. I laughed a little. "Actually, don't do the last one, nobody gets to date my daughter," He said again. I laughed. "Its okay dad, I forgive you. I love you too. And, that last one I'm not making any promises. I got Connor as a Senpai~" I joked. Then I realized: I just told my dad I loved Connor. Wow. I'm proud of myself. "WHO'S CONNOR?! GET THE SHOTGUN," He shouted. I laughed again and started walking to school. I went back to thinking about my dream, obviously looking insane again. "Uh..You okay there, (Y/N)?" Michael asked. "Mhmm..I...love...Connor," I mumbled. I suddenly heard giggles. Shit. "Called it!" Zoe screamed out. Thank God Connor wasn't with her yet. "So you gonna tell him?!" Jeremy asked. "Uh-I dunno...Maybe? I don't know..." I said. Evan was giggling like the smol bean he was. God Danmit Evan, stop being an innocent bean. "Please don't tell anybody...I didn't even plan on telling anyone," I said. They nodded. "It's more fun when the two confess! Plus, Connor goes on and one about you. You guys are the perfect couple!" Zoe said. I smiled slightly. "Speaking of Connor, where is he?" Evan asked. "He's at the Doctor's. He might not even come. He never does when he gets his chance. If he did decide to go though, then he'd be back by first period, but I dunno," Zoe said. We nodded and headed into school. Suddenly, we heard Connor burst through the door. "I'm here!" He screamed while panting. "Here," I said and put my arm out so he could lean on it. He leaned on me as I blushed slightly. The others giggled and I just helped Connor to class. Luckily, we didn't have to present our project yet, so we just went over some stuff. So today was a weird yet good day.
