White Crown

Kagami took the tray of treats onto the dinner table after handing one to the blonde in the room.

She left the eating female a set of instructions on how to set the table and got to work making some simple dinner, a carbonara.

She boiled the spaghetti and strained it, distributing it evenly onto eleven plates.

She lit the stove and poured in the milk and cheese.

She finished the cream sauce and drizzled it over each plate of noodles, sprinkled on grated parmesan and topped it with some reheated bacon bits. She placed the dish between each set of cutlery and with Yui's help, in moving two dishes that she almost dropped, the table was set for dinner/their lunch.

As soon as the last dish was sat down, Reiji appeared in the room, his eyes widen for the briefest of moments at the ready and properly set dinner table.

He took his seat as the other brothers soon appeared.

As everyone settled down it became clear that they were short of one plate, Kagami's.

The blonde idol at the table spoke up, as loud as usual.

"Idol Chan~? Don't you have a plate?" She shook her head and excused herself silently, pardoned by Reiji.

That was until her hand was pulled back by an auburn haired male.

Ayato pulled her back and shoved her before an empty seat.

"Eat, Ore sama commands it." He spat.

The albino of the males shoved her into her awaiting seat. "We don't want to have to deal with you fainting from hunger."

Arms wrapped around her waist and secured her to the seat, a face adorned with a pair of blue eyes snuggled into her clothed shoulder.

The eldest vampire's voice was muffled by the female's shirt, "so noisy, annoying..."

And to complete the series of events, Kou plopped half his noodles onto the plate before her, placed by a unnoticed Yui.

The boys returned to their seats as Shu tightened his grip on her waist, feeling her stomach slightly convulse as she looked at the food before her. Her face remained passive as she dug in, twirling the stands on her fork and taking small mouthfuls.

As she finished her last bite her hip twitched upwards and she flinched involuntarily. However, the movements were so small that only a person in full contact with her would have noticed it.

The dinner soon came to a close and the arms around her vanished along with it's person.

She walked normally towards her room only to make a sharp turn and make a silent dash to the bathroom when she was 10 feet away.

The door behind her was slammed shut yet made no noise, she had clearly done this before.

She crouched beside the toilet and began emptying her small stomach of food she had consumed, if any, in the past few days.

A sour taste filled her mouth as she flushed the contents of the toilet bowl down.

She stumbled to the sink and rinsed her mouth, brushing her teeth with her toothbrush vigorously, almost to the point of blood.

She garbled and spat out the tap water, panting and her body supported by the sink's edge. Looking up at her pale reflection in the mirror, her forehead covered in sweat and her already pale skin even more so. Hair stuck to her face and her eyes itched.

She let out a frustrated growl and pulled the silicon disc from her eye.

Before Kagami could shut her eyes as she layed on her bed, it sank to one side and a mop of yellow hair covered her own.

A gentle hand pulled off the rubber band that kept her hair in an up do.

The same fingers combed her locks before softly nudging her face against a lean chest.

"Gomene Idol Chan, I just wanted to see if you could take my nightmares away..." He hugged her close like he would when they were children.

Kagami wasn't startled at all, in fact she was calm as ever as the male clung to her.

Her hands caressed the hair on along the back of his neck just as she did when he came to her as a child.

His breaths became shallow and his arms fell limp. He was asleep.

Kagami took one last glance at Kou's lidded eyes before noticing her vision blur. She blinked hard and it was gone. She couldn't even cry anymore.

That night Kagmi woke up gasping silently. The sleeping boy beside her was still deep in his slumber, it seemed sleeping next to her took his nightmares away but it didn't work the other way around.

She grasped her dry throat, nails digging into skin. She let out a silent scream. She reached out in pain towards Kou.

Her eyes flared a crimson red and flashed repeatedly between blue and scarlet.

She let out a strained gasp only to release all tension in her limbs, her head hanging and blue eyes radiating a red hue frgom behind her right eye.

She slid off the bed slowly and pulled a packet from her bag that lay slumped in the corner. She left quietly and sped towards the bathroom.

Freezing water hit her skin, waking her up before her teeth tire open the aluminium packet. She pulled out the blue disc and layed it onto her red eye, masking the striking colour with a ocean blue just a shade lighter than her other eye.

The packaging was disposed of and the ravenette was on her way back to her room only to catch sight of a wisp of white hair.

She immediately turned to follow the white crown.
